Girlfriends getaway weekend
Great service & great space for the price! Too windy to use the “privacy/room service” reversible sign at all though - maybe an alternative to hanging on the doorknob?? But that’s a small mention - not a huge deal.

had the old time feeling of the time when I was a kid, it being a converted old motel and upgraded with nice interior. Bathroom and furnishings gave it the modern feeling of the 50-60's

Well worth the stay.
Our stay was just what we were looking for. We had a wonderful time. Just wish we could have stayed longer. The room was beautiful and very clean. The staff were amazing. We will definitely be back again. We would highly recommend The Carriage House at Strasberg for anyone looking for accommodations.

This is a great, clean, well-run motel, only about 15 minutes from traintown, the choo-choo barn, fantastic antique stores, and good restaurants. And of course, the Strasburg railroad. Just a great place to stay at reasonable rates in a great little town.

This is a quaint property that is will kept. The room was clean and stocked with what we needed. They supply water bottles at no additional charge. Breakfast vouchers were provided for place across the street, which was delicious.

The carriage house was simple, neat, clean and an easy drive to sight and sound theater. The speckled hen cafe across the street was great for breakfast and lunches ( we had both there). Would definitely stay again when in the area

The pictures were very deceiving. The decor was very nice, but the sink and shower were old. The sink also drained very slowly. The window air conditioner seemed older and was loud. (This is 2023?) The room had a musty smell and the baseboard needed paint. We believe that this hotel was approximately $50 overpriced, compared to other places where we have stayed in the Lancaster area.

Hey thanks for your feedback Thomas, The motel was purchased about 6 years ago and we have made steady improvements each year from the motel we had purchased, the bathrooms are next on the list of our 19 rooms, however we have been looking into updating HVAC in all the rooms. Each time we travel from Ohio we stay at the Carriage House. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and quaint. The staff are kind and responsive. The location is excellent for shopping in the town of Intercourse and close to the Site and Sound Christian playhouse. The breakfast across the street is great. We love staying at the Carriage House. Five Stars.
