Peaceful clean hotel, centrally located.

Posted Aug 1, 2017
Travelodge Hotel is affordable place to stay in Lancaster County, very centrally located to all. Very kind and curtious staff. The hotel room was very clean, cosy, quiet and peaceful place to stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone, a very pleasant stay.*****

A budget-oriented motel

Posted Jul 29, 2017
This is an old building and needs to be updated. The room itself was ok considering the age. However; although bathroom fixtures worked, there were ants crawling in and out of [plumbing] holes in the walls etc. There was space around the [loose-fitting] entrance door big enough for other critters to get access (however we didn't see any). The A/C was loud. Bottom line: this is a budget priced room. You get what you pay for.

Pros: nothing

When we travel, we look for budget, so this was it

Posted Jul 12, 2017
Pros: A place to stay
Cons: Remodel
Location: Tons to do in that area
The pool was clean but closed at dusk, not much time when returning late in the day. The plumbing in the tub left a bit to be desired. Beds were ok but not great. The air conditioner took time to cool down, old wall unit. Had ants attack on occasion. The breakfast was not much. This room served a perpous, it was cheep, and a bit under other cheep hotels.

Our room was directly situated over a very busy roadway along with a noisy air conditioning unit and paper thin walls. The carpet in the room was dirty and the facility itself is extremely outdated.

Business trip to Millersville University

Posted May 4, 2017
Pros: Staff, breakfast and location.
Cons: Maybe a fresh coat of paint to brighten-up the exterior.
Location: I was only in the area for a meeting at Millersville University.
I stayed at the Lancaster Amish Country Travelodge for one night and I was pleased with my stay. The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was decent as well. I cannot comment on the pool since it was not open in early May. While the appearance of the exterior was not beautiful and all of the rooms are accessed from the outside parking area, I was very satisfied with the room. I would recommend the Travelodge if you are visiting one of the nearby universities or downtown Lancaster.

Good, bad, and...

Posted May 1, 2017 on Hotels
Good: Very comfortable mattress. Very clean room. Great price for the area. Central to locales we visited. Staff very helpful. Bad: Only 1 chair in room and it leaned way back when you sat in it. Breakfast minimal. A/C a little noisy when coming on. When A/C off, could hear noises outside.
