Nice place for a restful vacation.Posted Nov 13, 2014
Pros: The room was quite spacious. There is a nice little pub on the ground floor that serves wonderful evening meals. There is also a great continental bre
Cons: I did notice what looked like oil on the entry to the elevator. Hours for indoor pool should be posted somewhere.
Location: The hotel is right across Route 30 from Dutch Wonderland amusement park. Several resturants close by. Two outlet centers also close by.
I had a very enjoyable time at the Lancaster Ramada. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who may be looking for a quiet, out-of-the-way spot to relax on their vacation.

Comfy beds, atrocious hallsPosted Nov 11, 2014 on Hotels
On the plus side, the mattresses, pillows, linens and towels were all new and very comfortable. The toilet appeared to be new and the shower had been retrofitted. On the minus side, the halls were in atrocious conditions, including a 10ft-long section which was flooded and stayed flooded the entire three-day length of my stay. The front desk didn't seem to care. There was no clock nor bar fridge, although my friends in the next room had both. Their bar fridge actually froze all the liquids that were placed in it, however. The room keys would not stay magnetized. I had to go back to the front desk twice to get a new key (along the flooded corridor). After the third key failed I just gave up and relied on my room mate's key. The "business center" consists of a single PC but no printer and no note paper. This meant I had to manually record the Google Maps directions for our route home on the back of a flyer. I will NOT be coming back.

good locationPosted Nov 1, 2014
Pros: friendly staff. clean room.
Cons: elevator and up dated rooms.
Location: shopping, dutch wonderland
the room was big, although a bit outdated. poor television stations and quality of picture. The radio did not work. breakfast buffet was good. The lady who made the waffles was very friendly. The reception staff was also very friendly. The elevator was a bit scary, especially since I don't like to ride in them. The location was good for us, and would stay again.

Horrible Cable servicePosted Oct 29, 2014 on Hotels
The TV in our room was not working properly. The picture was fuzzy and I went downstairs to ask for some help and no one came. We tried to adjust the cables in the back of the TV ourselves but nothing worked.

Rude WorkersPosted Oct 29, 2014
Cons: water temperature needs to be checked
This was suppose to be a first time trip with my clients..... It was suppose to be wonderful but we experienced a lot of problems at our stay there. Two of the individuals that we had on the trip are disabled. No one seemed to stare except of the hotel workers. The day we left there was an lady dressed in all black at the front desk, which I'm going to assume was a manager because of how she was dressed compared to the lady siting down. She stared the hardest at our individuals and tried to say softly whats wrong with them. Nothing is wrong with them. It was very hurtful to hear this. Not only to me but to my individuals they cried all the way home because they were different. That hurt my feelings. The hotel room phone was not working right. I would dial 0 to get the front desk because our first night there were people running down the hall making noises and keeping us up. I tried not to handle it myself but had to. We noticed that the trash cans were not emptied from the guest prior to us because there was a brown banana peel in one of the trash cans with a cvs pharmacy packet in it. The guy that checked us in rolled his eyes when I asked him if there was another entrance to the hotel considering when I booked the hotel I was told it was wheel chair accessible. It was but it was out of order. This didn't stop us from helping our individual up the stairs. It did however start the stay there on a bad foot.

The Ramada InnPosted Oct 23, 2014 on Hotels
The room was neat and clean. wasn't the best but not the worst. I don't think I would stay at Ramada again. The carpet in the hallway was dirty and there weree leaks in the ceiling which made the rug smelly. The lighting was too dull,, which gave it an eerie feeling. It's worth it to pay a little extra to go to a better motel.
