Great price for what you get

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: The price was right!
Cons: More towels and toilet paper in bathroom. Maybe upgrade from old fashioned key to a card system.
Location: The American Theatre was close by where we saw Carol Burnett. The Outlet shopping mall was very close as well. Lots of Amish choices too for eating
We saw the Carol Burnett concert and enjoyed an Amish tour. My friend and I stayed 2 days. The price was very reasonable for what we got. The staff was kind and friendly. Very close to everything we needed.

My Stay at Old Amish Motel

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: I liked the location
Cons: The whole lobby needs to be done over so that people would go in for breakfast. The sink in the room I was in and tub need to be replaced.
Location: The location was excellent. Right in the middle of the areas I was interested in seeing.
Well I was able to check in about an hour earlier. However when I went into the lobby the rug was stained, crumbs all over and fruits still out on counter from continental breakfast. Was not impressed with lobby at all not very clean. Behind the desk was all cluttered. The room was ok. Sink was cracked and fixtures old. Bath tub clean but black dirt stain in it. The motel was okay for one night stay but don't think I would ever stay there again. Back of door to room was all scrapped up and paint off door.

Nice stay, good location

Posted Aug 5, 2015
Good location in the middle of Amish Country. We received good advice by the friendly hotel staff on where to eat. Only thing that has to improve is brekfast: limited choice and no space. You have to either eat in your room or outside (chairs available).

Would stay again

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Location, price, quiet
Cons: Provide more toilet paper, soaps, shampoo
Location: Lots of Outlet shopping, bus tours, restaurants
Nice hotel for the price. No frills but the breakfast is satisfactory and the room is quiet, comfortable enough. No extra toilet paper or soaps throughout your visit. Overall - good location, good hotel for the price.

It isn`t an Amish People Farm!

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Tell the truth in the advertisment
Location: Commercial area. Amish People scattered in an area miles around.
Don`t expect an bed and breakfast at an Amish People Farm! It is a very simple motel with an even more simple breakfast, far away from a continental one. We felt disappointed comparing the advertisement and the reality. View out of the window direct to the trash bins, furnitures not nice any more, not a good smell inside the bathroom. No breakfast room. Busy streets around in a commercial area. It wasn`t the money worth.

Very clean and quiet

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Clean and quiet
Cons: An ice machine on the second floor would be nice.
Location: Convenient to Lancaster area sites and outlets.
Quick check-in, room was ready and clean. Front desk staff pleasant. Quiet hotel. Right off rt. 30. Easy to get to other sights in the Lancaster area. The only ice machine is on the ground floor.

Viel zu teuer!

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Nichts
