This hidden little gem is a must. If you are even remotely close to its vicinity, make it a point to stay at the red caboose Inn for a unique experience that has a trifecta of a clean room, a great restaurant and fabulous gift shop. There are a few farm animals there to feed and pet as well as a view of an Amish farm. It is conveniently located next to the Strassburg railroad museum. We will definitely be back!

The Petting zoo at the Hotel is our absolute favorite!! We love feeding the animlas and watching the train pass all day ..the staff is great and the food always great !

My family & I have been coming here for the pasr 3 years. It is always a great experience. Staff is super friendly, the area is beautiful and it's an overall great experience. We can't wait to go back next year. Thank you red caboose for making it such a great experience for my family.

I love the train theme and speaking with locals, I understand the history and longevity of this place. It was very clean upon check-in. My biggest complaint is the mildew smell. I am not sure if it is the lack of airflow, carpet, linens, or whatever, but the smell is overwhelming. If you are sensitive to allergens and smells, you may want to opt for a different stay.

It was really neat staying in a caboose. It was a unique place and did a great job with the railroad theme. The staff was very friendly and even called to make sure we checked in ok and that everything in the room was good.

This is a wonderful place to stay. So clean and comfortable. Everyone here so friendly. Beds are very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great staff, great concept well executed. You must try the Casey Jones restaurant too. The surrounding countryside is beautiful.

My family has stayed here multiple times and love it. The only nitpick is the Wifi is not that great in the caboose we stayed in as it is further away from the main building.
