Stayed one night here and that was enough. The breakfast seemed to be stopped for the time being, there was a closed sign across the entry sign. The fish tank in the lobby is green and gross-looking, but the staff was nice. The general condition of the property is below average I would say. Multiple guests were smoking directly outside their rooms, there was trash around the property, and there was a bunch of out-of-order equipment lying around the exterior of the complex. On to the room. At first glance, it seemed "okay". I have heard things about cockroaches and bedbugs in rooms. We saw neither, so 1 for RRI. The floors in the rooms were not clean, but they were also not the worst I have ever seen. The beds were stained all over, but again, no bugs, so a trade-off I am willing to make. The pillows and mattresses seemed like they had been in use since the early 2000s. The beds were creaky. The AC unit was squeaking every 30 minutes or so, the curtain in front of the window would not fully extend closed, and the window would not lock fully. The door would lock fine, but there was a pretty major gap on the sides and bottom allowing outside air (and smoke) to come in. Overall, you get what you pay for. It was nice being close to everything, but if I had to do it all over again, I think I would have spent the extra $30-50 and gotten a much nicer room/experience.

We had a jacuzzi tub room, water pressure was terrible took about 20 minutes for the tub to fill enough to turn on jets. Phone in room was not attached to wall, tv didn't work, could not change channels, and found trash from last person who was there.

This is a rundown hotel. Found the room to be not too clean and furnishings were on the cheap side. Decided to go to a hotel down the road. Manager stated he would refund me my entire prepaid cost, however when I left he told hotels.com he would only refund one night.

Everything was pretty good except I had a group of boys that roomed beside me and about 830. They got rather loud running the halls and yelling. I called the front desk and the lady said she would take care of it and she did then about 1230 everything broke loose. The boys were running the halls. They were yelling. They were slamming doors, and they had a boombox that made the walls vibrate. I called down again, asking that they quiet them down, and the fellow at the desk was very rude told me if I didn’t like it that he would give me my money back and I could check out then he came up and screamed at those boys and there Supervisors using foul language and threatening to call the police after that then we slept OK for the rest of the night red roof Inn apologized and that was it

You get what you pay for!
The receptionist was very pleasant, very welcoming. But the place itself is Very run down, little to no maintenance. Every single trash can in the property was overflowing with trash. View from my window was old carpet that just needed to be thrown away. I do believe there was a family living in their car too. Free breakfast was a 6 ounce styrofoam cup of coffee and some mini bagels. Fruit flies all over the food. The juice dispenser needed to cleaned . The beds were horrendous, not comfortable at all and the pillows were about 20 years old. Two of my pillow cases were dirty…so gross. The bathroom was clean!

Beds Comfortable but Door Didn't Close Properly
The front desk staff was amazing and very friendly. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The room, at first glance appeared clean but I noted some mold on the grout in the shower. The tub itself did appear to be clean. The room also had a slight odor (old smell). The tv's were very small for the rooms (definitely not the size shown in the room pictures on the web) and there weren't many stations on the cable tv. The major issue with the room was our door. Since this hotels rooms open to the outside, our door appeared to have been kicked in at one time and did not latch/lock completely. You could see daylight coming in which also allowed the cold air and exhaust fume from the motorcycles parked outside our door. We stayed here as the normal hotel we like to stay was booked. The hotel served its purpose and again the beds were extremely comfortable but we have crossed this chain off our list.

Room was never cleaned, was told housekeepers called out so only some rooms could be done. Towels thin as paper, had to ask for hand towels and wash cloths, only one in the room. Room was booked for 3 people. No tissues provided, no extra toilet paper in room. Will never stay here again

Checking in was fine. The hotel needs good cleaning and dusting. And need some good renovation. We stayed here for a Labour Day long weekend from Toronto because we had a sport tournament. So we basically use this to sleep. However, we encountered a problem on our last night here. The tub started to flood dirty water and wouldn't go down. We just wanted to take a shower because we came from the game and my kids needs to take a bath before bedtime. We didn't want to change room because it was our last night and we had to leave the hotel early anyways because we had an early game the next day. So called the front desk, someone came to check it out. He was trying to pump it and put a drain snake wire thing(sorry not a plumber so don't know what it is called). But it didn't help, the guys said it's not going to be fix until tomorrow and just close the washroom door during the night. But of course we can't wait Til tomorrow since it's our last day and super need to shower that night. So I told the guy that's doesn't help us since it's our last night and leaving early tomorrow. So I suggested that even if we go to another room just to take a shower. So he gave us access to another room to take a shower, there 4 of us- for only 30 minutes. 🙄 Again, so far not having luck with my last 2 hotel bookings here. But what to expect with a lower rating hotel, right. But again the rates are not cheap either. Hopefully my next booking stay will be better.

This was a nice motel for the price. Very “dated” but it was clean and the check in staff was very friendly. Very close to all the area attractions, I would stay here again if the price stays low.

Let’s start with no updates for today’s electronic ie phone. Air conditioner sound like a jet in the room, had to turn the volume up to hear over the air conditioner. Turn volume down when the air conditioner stopped. This is all minor, but! The toe nail clippings in the floor and the hair in the tub, as well as the flies and insects flying and crawling around the room and bath area. The emergency exit door outside our room would not shut so we really felt unsecured. Pallet laying at the emergency exit door. That would have been good if we had to exit due to an emergency. Unfortunately this will go into social media I do not want my friends and family to stay there. Could not take it no more. We stayed two nights and went a got a room down the street. We were there for Lights and Sound Theater and to kick around Lancaster. Enclosing I would like for you to know the toenail clippings and the hair in the drain in the tub were there the whole trip only thing that we could see that was done the bid was made. We stay at Red Roof Inn a lot in our travels, but no more……
