Only as a last resort

This hotel makes my top 3 worst list ever! The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. I could feel the springs. All night long I could hear the train running across the street. A couple of good points the staff was nice and the grounds were well kept.

The guy who paid to much for nothing

I cheched in at 3 pm., my key did not work. People from the hotel had to open the door for me twice. I get password for wifi,. Never worked. I understand the area does not have to many choices., but for the price., i think you should care more for the little details.i live in San Diego, and for the money i paid, you can have better deals.

I stay at the Town House/Lancaster, CA., at least once a year as I have family in the area. My stay is always comfortable and the service is very adequate. I would highly recommend this place to family & friends.

Clean, comfortable stay

We stayed here for one night in a king room. The room was clean, and had a side table, armchair, fridge, microwave, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and air con. Clean and comfortable. The spa bath was not worth it (same price as normal king room), as it was old and you didn't really want to sit in the bath, but as a shower it was fine. Trevor at reception was very pleasant and polite. We wanted to check in a bit earlier and he asked housekeeping to clean our room immediately. Good for a short, value for money stay.

Needed a place close to Willow Springs Raceway

Pros: The staff
Cons: Bed covers that hide the stains better & was regular. Change flooring perhaps fake wood.
Location: Willow Springs Track was all we really saw.
We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay close to the racetrack so we could attend an event and booked the room online, taking a risk as one does when booking online. We were pleased with how courteous the staff was when we arrived, each time we spoke to someone and again the morning as we checked out. Overall the room was tidy, there were some stains on the bed covers and the carpet.

Last resort, or semi cheap option

Pros: Not much, but it was a fairly cheap stay.
Cons: Hospitality and organization of the the staff & office, and overall cleanliness.
Location: In the heart of Lancaster, CA with pretty much anything you need nearby. Hotel is located next to frequently used train tracks.
When we arrived, the staff in the office was very unorganized (had stacks of paper all over the front desk and couldn't find our reservation info), and even though we booked online, they were not knowledgable of the details of our stay. When we got to our rooms, you could tell that they had made some efforts to make the rooms appealing, but none the less, the cleanliness (what truly matters) was substandard. The window sills, air conditioner, bathroom vanity & cabinets, and molding around the base of the walls were all excessively dirty. The first morning we found a roach in one of the beds, and the hotel manager told me that was absurd because they routinely have pest control at the motel, insuring that they won't have those problems, and he also stated that pest control had never found any evidence of that sort of problem. They ended up only giving us $15 off the cost of the room. If I can at all help it, we will never stay at the motel again.

Hotel was really dirty and uncomfortable. I would not recommend to anyone.
