Needed a place close to Willow Springs RacewayPosted May 2, 2015
Pros: The staff
Cons: Bed covers that hide the stains better & was regular. Change flooring perhaps fake wood.
Location: Willow Springs Track was all we really saw.
We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay close to the racetrack so we could attend an event and booked the room online, taking a risk as one does when booking online. We were pleased with how courteous the staff was when we arrived, each time we spoke to someone and again the morning as we checked out. Overall the room was tidy, there were some stains on the bed covers and the carpet.

Old but well kempt, friendly staff. Good WiFi and has pool. Although I didn't take advantage of it, there is a breakfast offered. Great value for the price.

Sports tournamentPosted Mar 30, 2015
Motel was just basics, no frills but clean and staff is friendly. There is a pretty loud train that passes through the night so if a light sleeper, may want to ask for a room away from the tracks. Otherwise it has everything we needed for a sports trip where we were hardly in the room during our stay. Good value.

Very basic and run down hotel off the beaten trackPosted Mar 25, 2015 on Hotels
This was the nearest hotel I could find to Los Angeles on Saturday Feb 14 2015. There were no hotels anywhere unless you were prepared to pay ridiculous money. This hotel was a 90 mile hike in my rental car and was near Edwards Air Force Base, where the Space Shuttles used to land. The hotel was fully booked and apparently was also full of others like me who couldn't find a hotel in LA. The room was basic and there was WiFi and it was reasonably cheap compared to what else was on offer. However, it was old and dilapidated and needs a lot of work to bring it up to scratch. Would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again. The only saving grace was the musical road about 10 minutes away - worth visiting.

The bed moderately comfortable, it was just very firm with very little cushion. The room was clean. It is located across the street from railroad tracks. The trains ran all night, and very early in the morning (about 4) they started tooting their horns. Breakfast was a simple continental style affair-coffee, juice, hard-boiled eggs, waffles and pastries. We were looking for something inexpensive and this is what we got. No frills, just a place to spend the night.
