It was closed the listing is still up but yhe property place is cloded up for renovations...imagine going to a place for a wedding and having no place to stay...we got no help from expedia or the 800 number for the hotel...awful

The staff was rude and the enitre building was under renovation with debris and boxes everywhere. Walked on concrete after the floor was busted up. Loud confrontation noises during the day. No breakfast as advertised. Why was this place open?

Stains on the carpet, roaches in the room, and dirty wash clothes were left in the shower from the previous party. They are renovating, there is lots of plaster dust everywhere. Wouldn't recommend staying.

Hotel dirty, under construction. Front desk guy was on his phone I stood there for 3 mins until I had to say do you work here. Went to the room, dead bugs in the corner of the bathroom floor, faucets were difficult to turn off. I under stand construction but not mold and dirty blankets. We left after an hour.

It appears that the whole facility is under renovation- new windows, carpet, etc. It makes the hotel look like it’s not open. Our room has not been renovated yet. There was mold in the shower, carpet was dirty, the light switches didn’t turn on anything, and the bedding was stained. It had been a Wyndham before but clearly lost its franchise.

Sleeping Desk Attendant
Upon arrival and checking we had to WAKE UP the sleeping desk attendant in order to get our room number/keys. He had been playing on his phone as we could see from where he was sitting that it was hanging from the charging cord on the wall. Shower water ran all over the bathroom floor due to poor design of drain. This required us to go to the front desk(2 hours later) and ask for more towels and AGAIN, we had to wake the sleeping desk attendant. Wish we had snapped a picture to post here. Very unprofessional. Would NOT stay there again!

This place is very run down. Bed was as bad as sleeping on a floor. Room was not that clean. At least the sheets seemed clean but the floors and and everthing else wasnt. The staff was friendly but not worth the price for what they charge here.

Horrible Experience
The room was filthy, looked hadn't been cleaned in months. The staff were unavailable to check us in for over 30 mins and if you called the hotel to see if a staff was around nobody picked up.

The first room had cobwebs on the walls and ceiling, the heater didn't work, there was a glass on top of the curtain and there was a cigarette on the table. I went to the front desk to explain the problem. The desk clerk gave me another room and went to check out the original room. Second room was better. However I do not understand why when you book a room for 4 adults they place only 2 sets of towels and washcloths in the room and when you ask.for more they can not gind enough for 4 people. Another issue is why are there only 3 pillows on a queen size bed? I booked through hotels.com and checked that i would pay at the property, intending to pay cash but they charged my card before i arrived. When questioned i was told i could pay cash but it would take 3 to 5 days to get my money back. Lastly, i was made to charge zn additional 100 to my card for incidentals or damage that i get back after housekeeping cleans the toom. It jusr seemed excessive.

Disgusting place to stay
Not great at all! Room was cold and sheets/comforters were dingy looking! Never again! Ask for clean comforters and was supplied but same dingy look. Poor man at the desk seem to be the only worker on. Not even a phone in the room to call the desk. That was some experience!

Booked a two night stay for November 25th-27th ended up checking out early the second day due to seeing bugs in the room and a stained up pull out couch mattress not to mention the fact there was little to no hot water the morning of the second day and the bed was super uncomfortable. Took my concerns to the front desk and it got my nowhere. I was not provided a refund for the second night since the hotel didn’t see any bugs in the room even though I showed them a picture. When I called back to see the status I was met with the same unhelpfulness and was unable to get a manger or someone higher on the phone and got no contact information for such person. I then went on there website to send an email and the photos I took of the room and found out that the email doesn’t work. So overall very disappointed in my stay and at the fact I had to pay for 2 different rooms

This is our second time staying at this hotel which looks pretty decent, just that this time the two rooms given to us were lacking service. The 1st room heating system wasn’t heating which we were then moved to a 2nd room which the microwave was left dirty, no toilet paper and a stain on the bed. It really isn’t a bad hotel, just that this time around it seems as is the staff was probably short handed.

When I arrived there was no staff at the front desk for 20 minutes with a lobby full of people waiting to check in. Then there was a 100$ hold that had to be put on a debit card in case of property damage but this wasn’t disclosed on the website. When I finally got to go up to my room I walked into a room with no working heater in the room with the jacuzzi and no front guard on the heater. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work either. There were no extra towels available and on Our second night there we were warming food up in the microwave and a cockroach crawled from behind the cabinets onto the counter and back up again. As we were getting our things to check out I found a gummy worm behind the nightstand…. ‘‘Twas not from me. Disappointed, disgusted, and mad.

The room was dirty and damp, bathroom dirty i went out bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it myself my daughters found things under the beds that were unsafe that i had to dispose of. I would not recommend, we were stuck do to a competition and no where else to go.

We came in from NY and got there around 2pm our check in time was 4pm. So they followed up with housekeeping to ask about our room, which she said was on the 3rd floor. We left and had late lunch. When we came back it was 345pm and another person helped us check in. The strange thing was our room was on the 1st floor, not third floor. Which is really no problem, but just have said "We dont allow check-ins until 330pm." No breakfast of any type. They did offer their coffee in the room. With those things being said, we would stay there again!

It looks better outside than it Is. Yesterday 7pm no lights un the parking lot. I used my phone lantern. It was so dark that I find difficult to walk from the car to the entrance. Nobody in lobby, it looked deserted. It Is a pity because it has belen a nice hotel. Rooms are big.

The Heating Unit wasn’t working and the room was freezing. There were summer duvets on the bed. They didn’t have extra blankets. Stains on the side of the beds, chairs, shower curtain and the tub drain was rusted and gross.

Very dirty hotel room. Mold on ceiling & lamp shade, bird poop on curtains, broken suitcase rack, curtains did not close, & stained bed sheet.

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry for your experience at the Inn at Lancaster. The hotel will be starting a full renovation and rebranding to a Hilton Spark Hotel - Hilton's newest brand in the next couple of weeks. We expect to have the renovations/rebranding completed by late Spring 2024. Please consider coming back to our "New" Hilton Spark when you are back in the area. Thank you!

Recent Stay
Property recently underwent major renovation. Not everything replaced like bathrooms but the facility is in good shape. Room and common areas were clean. Front desk staff appeared to not be very experienced. He struggled to explain a simple $100 card hold for potential issues. Getting in to the property off of Rt 30 is a bit odd. Easy to miss if you’re not careful. Overall great value for the price paid.
