Really nice hotel, helpful staff, great bar, and St Anton has a great selection of bars and restaurants - standouts where Acquilia, Museum and Basecamp.

Located along side of the main street at Sankt Anton am Arlberg. Very convenient to walk around the village and access to the lift, which runs up the mountain. You can enjoy there even in the summer time.

Relax in style in the Tirol
The Alte Post was wonderful. Great staff, beautiful accommodation. The breakfast spread was delicious and the pool and sauna fantastic. Only a short walk from the slopes with a great ski room to leave gear in the evening. Highly recommend!

They found a large bed for me!
The first room they put me in had two twin beds next to each other - with a rift in between. However, it was early in the season and they upgraded me to a suite that had a king sized topper. They made it work :-) I got to the hotel after the restaurants had closed, so the barkeep tried to find as many bar snacks as he could...very accommodating :-)

Lovely traditional hotel with excellent food
It's not easy to find a hotel for a long winter weekend in St Anton which is probably reflected in the price which was pretty eye-watering. The hotel is charming and traditional, slightly old fashioned but that's what you want, right? The staff are lovely with a sense of humour and the food is superb.

Great base for Austrian Alps hiking & exploration
Lovely, clean hotel right in the center of St. Anton. The cable car/ski lifts are two minutes walk from the hotel, so one can roll out of bed and head right to the mountains for a hike (or ski). Staff was friendly and helpful and the pool/spa area are beautiful well-maintained.

Couldn't be better
We had a spacious suite in a quiet location, bed was comfortable, great bathroom with separate toilet, nice balcony to relax on, food in hotel was delicious, nice wellness and pool area and beyond all the service was great! Very helpful staff booked a day trip for us to Lake Constance on a day when the Sankt Anton weather was iffy.

Conveniently located, well presented hotel in St A
A very comfortable, friendly, rustic hotel offering up-to-date modern facilities. .Wellness and pool facilities were much appreciated, so too were the gourmet meals.

A good centrally located hotel.
When we eventually found how to reach the hotel by car ( you had to press a button for a bollard to go down in the road )our check in went smoothly and we were offered a welcome drink. Our room was large but the beds rather hard. We had a great buffet breakfast the first morning but after that we just ordered off the room service menu in the restaurant which wasn't so good. No one told us about the free Summer Card which luckily we read about in a leaflet from the Information Centre.

Wonderful hotel in perfect location
4* plus hotel in the heart of St Anton. Less than a 2 minute walk to the ski slopes. Extensive buffet breakfast and amazing 6 course dinner option. Large rooms which are very clean and comfortable. Free wifi and Spa facilities offer an incredible experience.

My daughter and I stayed for 4 nights and were made to feel very very welcome by all of the staff. The ladies on reception were informative and really helpfull. The restaurant staff were also very efficient nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in staying again.5*

Alte Post - perfect spot to stay in St. Anton
Short walk from train station (no need for taxi on arrival/departure), right in centre of the village/town, super close to lifts, great facilities and very friendly/helpful staff at reception. Large heated ski/boot room with easy access to lifts from rear of building (with key card to back door and ski/boot room ensuring security) so even closer and no need to negotiate people walking down main street. Didn't get to use the spa facilities (sauna, pool, massage, etc) so can't comment. Would stay here again in a heart-beat !!

Perfekt läge. 100-300 m till liftar och järnvägsstationen. Smidigt med tåg Zürich flygplats-St. Anton. Stora rum, extra säng i eget rum med dörr!

Sehr schönes Hotel, saubere Zimmer und sehr freundliches Personal. Schöner Wellnessbereich mit grosszügigem Pool. Frühstück war lecker. Leider waren alle Bergbahnen und Geschäfte geschlossen.

Reaching parking lot is a real life ESCAPE GAME. Reception persons in elegant local costume are friendly. Museum like interior, amazing window view. Only one drawback is a modest city imbiss like restaurant.

Très bien dans l'ensemble. Un seul bémol : l'arrivée. L'hôtel est situé dans une rue interdite aux voitures et par ailleurs plusieurs portent presque le même nom. Il faut donc se garer comme on peut, chercher le bon établissement et obtenir des instructions : s'approcher très près des bornes automatiques, déceler un bouton qui est caché, trouver ensuite le garage, le bon ascenseur : tout ceci est un peu compliqué après une journée de voyage. Sinon, la piscine est bien, le restaurant aussi.
