"Safe Port in a Storm"
It was a great time to arrive in Penzance, in the middle of a storm. Thankfully it's a short walk from the railway station. The hotel was so comfortable that you wouldn't have known about the storm outside. Both the evening meal and breakfast were topnotch. Loved the little touch in the bedroom.

"Very welcoming "
Lovely room with easy access. The staff on arrival were extremely helpful with getting us transport to the wedding we were attending. The bathroom needed a little updating but was clean and tidy. The breakfast was great plenty of choice and the plates were full. Would definitely go back again.

A bit away from the city and beach but lovely accommodation. It is a pub so expect pub noise. This was not an issue for me but may deter others. Overall the friendliness of staff and accommodation went beyond my expectation and I had an enjoyable stay.

Pocket Guide: Lands End, United Kingdom Pet-friendly Hotels

The most westerly tip of the country is also the wildest part of Cornwall, known for its prehistoric sites, cliff scenery (particularly at Land’s End), raging surf, and tin mining relics. Its most popular settlement is St Ives, a beautiful fishing village and arts centre with its very own Tate gallery and superb beaches. Penzance is a characterful Georgian town, while the nearby soaring island abbey of St Michael’s Mount is a regional icon.
