Perfect locationPosted Sep 24, 2017
Pros: Perfect location
Cons: WiFi very poor
Very nice hotel with great location in old city, unfriendly receptionist on September 10th morning but friendly evening stuff . Rooms are clean with great view on Belvedere, nice bathroom and good equipment. Very poor WiFi connection during my stay. Any kind of transportation is around the hotel. with direct connection with the airport. I was satisfied. I had a great time there and for sure I will come back!

Good hotel in a great central locationPosted Sep 7, 2017
Pros: Location is very good, rooms are a nice size, well-furnished and have good AC.
Cons: Drink-making facilities in the rooms and a bar/restaurant on-site would be lovely.
Location: Belvedere Palace is very near - 2 palaces converted into art museums. Stadtpark is a very nice park nearby. Botanical Gardens just behind the hotel.
The hotel has nice clean rooms that feel spacious and its location is great for exploring Vienna - only a 5 minute walk from the train station at Rennweg or 10 minute walk to the underground station at Stadtpark. You can actually walk to Stephansdom/main shopping area in about 20 minutes. Lots of good places to eat nearby along with a few supermarkets etc and the Stadtpark and Belvedere Palace are very near and are great places to visit. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that lets the hotel down a little is a lack of facilities - there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms and no bar or restaurant onsite. Your only options, other than the minibar in your room, are a small seating area in reception with a self-serve hot drinks machine and a chiller cabinet of pre-packed sandwiches, chocolate bars and chilled bottled drinks - you serve yourself and pay for your choices at reception.

Cons: the internet
The only thing that was not good was the internet, so slow that practically there is no internet. Other than that very good location ad nice hotel.

It was great overall. The room was very ample and also the bathroom. Little refrigerator. Close to restaurants and the bus/train station. Hotel has good amenities like TV room with to go sandwiches, sauna and gym. WiFi signal was weak. The rest just perfect for the money we paid.

Nice Base for ViennaPosted Aug 29, 2017
Pros: good location, appreciated early check-in & late check-out
Location: Belvedere Palace, Salm Brewpub, # 71 tram to the RingStrasse
Had a great stay, was allowed an early check-in and a late check-out at no additional cost. Room very well appointed: plenty of channels on the TV; comfortable bed; good air conditioning; had a safe and a mini-fridge; tea kettle provided upon my request, with tea/coffee refilled daily. The location is very good: i.e. the "S7" train to/from the airport stops down the block at "Rennweg" station; other trains from there go to/from the city's main train station. Make a left as you leave the hotel and the Belvedere Palace and Salm Brewpub are just down the block; across the street from Salm, the # 71 tram takes you to/along the RingStrasse in under 10 minutes. Another block past the tram stop there's a Billa supermarket. The hotel is quite affordable by Vienna standards. Don't/didn't have any complaints, and would happily stay here again.

Great location, old fashioned comfort.Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: Location, decor of public spaces, comfortable bed.
Cons: Room could have been a little bigger.
The hotel is very well located within walking distance to city center and museums. Belvedere is around the corner. The room was smallish but clean, bed comfortable...and to our great relief on a very hot day, it had AC. Staff was friendly and, after some pleas on our part, allowed us to check in early after a long flight from Los Angeles. Breakfast had lots of choices. Public areas are nicely decorated and evoke old-time Viennese charm.

Great hotel & locationPosted Aug 22, 2017
Hotel very nice inside and out. Main positive is location, around ten minutes walk to Stadtpark, shopping centres/districts and not much further to museum district opera houses etc.
