Different from Photo

I needed to wait very long for entering Room because they said Room is not ready. We waited for 2 hours almost.. Room is different from Photo.

A lot to improve- ok overall!

The hotel is ok, very aged and has missed some well needed care and refurbishment. The rooms are spacious but again many signs of wear and tear. Some investment is well needed and this property could be wonderful... After the first few days the hotel would have gained a 1-2 star rating from me... Breakfast area was dirty.. Room service plates left outside our room for many days etc Things did turn around, I believe management turned up at the hotel during our stay and suddenly things were kept much tidier.. Room service plates tidied away, breakfast much cleaner etc.. At a good price the hotel is still worth a visit and if you acquire transportation is a good base to visit the island from. Breakfast option is ok with decent choice and staff are quite friendly and helpful.

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND DIRTY!!!

I would be able to complain from the first day till the last day I checked out. 1) Super lazy bellboy - when we reached, it was raining whereby our rented car was parked next to the lobby. We look at the bellboy hoping that he could get an umbrella for us. However he stood there talking to his colleague 2) Super rude receptionist - she acted as though the guest is well aware of the layout of the building. She has just directed us to turn left. When we walked as instructed, we went into a waiting room. Came out and asked her again. She said we needed to cross the road. So we went up and noticed that our room number is 430. There was no 4th floor. We came down again and asked her. She laughed and told us that there is no 4th floor and 430 is at 1st floor. 3) Room - the floor was oily and toilet was awful and dirty. Worst local hotel ever stayed!!

Above average budget hotel

Pros: The proximity to shops and restaurants.
Cons: The premises itself is nice. Obviously there are upkeeps to be done both on the exterior and interior. Staff could be more flexible and helpful.
Location: There is a convenient store across the street from the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and little shops in the area.
My friend and I stayed there for 3 nights over Christmas. Overall speaking, the hotel was ok. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. What we found unusual was we were only given one room key! which was a tad inconvenient! We arrived in the evening of Christmas eve. Tired and hungry after the flight, we tried to eat at the hotel restaurant but were too late - just 15-20 minutes before the buffet dinner finished. We then requested room service but were told it was not available for the night. Their explanation: the kitchen was too busy (as they were serving a special buffet dinner)! In the end we had to talk to the front desk and waited 45 minutes before we could have our food delivered to our room. Other than that, we are happy with our stay there. Breakfast was decent although the variety of food was not big. We also joined 2 tours via the hotel which were great. No complaints there,

Seaview requested but not granted!

1.No bathtub upon request. 2.No Fitness & Spa facilities although website reflected. Hotel staff promised a manager to speak with me but nobody came to explain! 3.Hotel phone service was rude and not prompt in answering. 4.Housekeeping service was not prompt and delayed in delivering items requested. 5.No WIFI available even when in swimming pool and hotel lobby area. 6.Breakfast food array was not fantastic. 7.Only 1 lift servicing. The other on maintenance! 8.Check in was only allowed after 3pm! No alternative was extended to guests who came early. 8.Provided only 1 toiletries each for a room. Extra toiletries requested are chargeable! 9.Breakfast time allowed at 7am but website written as 6.30am. This is crucial for guests who has to leave for an early flight. 10.We both has food poisoning after breakfast consumption on 25 Dec. Overall experience was unsatisfactory!

Worst hotel ever

Room is not maintened well, not clean, and they dont clean it everyday I had stayed there for 5 days and they only organize the room, towels are not clean, room service finish there duty at 10 pm, no wifi in the room onky in the loby, breakfast is discusting, hotel is too far from pantay cenang beach almost 30 mins by car, not worth the money or the visit

3* hotel but rather run down

Big room but cleanliness is lacking. Services is slow. Staffs unresponsive n unhelpful. Can't speak English well. Restaurant nearby do not open until for dinner. Nothing much to do in nearby vicinity. A must drive in langkawi.

I AM SOO NOT AT THIS HOTEL EVER AGAIN !

Bella Vista was the worst place to stay, it does not worth of 600RM per night ! Do not pay via mastercard / visa card ! They may take advantage of it. My family and I were accused of Pre-Existing damages and were asked to pay for it ! On the day we checked out, everything was okay and they refunded our deposit money. I was flabbergasted when I received an email from Assistant Housekeepe of Bella Vista demanded us to pay the pre existing damages. They have taken liability of my masterdard without my concern, AFTER a week we checked out. As far as I know, the hotel rules & regulations IF the hotel guest checked out and they have declared, any issues will not arise. For your information, the items were already damaged, when we arrived and checked-in but we did not lodged any complaints, moreover the Bella Vista's receptionist claimed that room 3106 was the only available room at that time.
