The room was spacious, clean and well furnished. The staff service was excellent. The front desk staff such as Ms Atirah and all her colleagues were very helpful and attentive, which made my stay at Holiday Villa truly memorable!

The room was dated, the breakfast extremely poor, no clean plates / cups and food never replenished. The staff are unhelpful. Great shame as looked so good. Beach is nice . The fact you can’t use the infinity pool without paying extra is a joke.

Average service Stayed at the hotel for a week and a half. The view from the room is beautiful and the hotel has 2 swimming pool one of them is infinity which is MR 30.00 per day. Also has a jacuzzi which is nice and plenty sund beds by the pool and beach. However the service is not great as there not flexible at all, the breakfast was the same thing every day no local dishes I got fed up of seeing the same menu. Songs at the lobby and the pool also the same every day. Heard the same song more than 5 time. Parking is available for free. Good location and plenty of shops around. If you’re on a budget and looking for location this is suitable.

Best features are: very scenic beach in front of the hotel; beach front restaurant and bar; two large well maintained pools (one free form with a big jacuzzi and the other an infinity pool right on the beach).

Good value, spacious accommodation with a charming retro character, offering a fine sandy private beach and outdoor swimming pools and sunbathing facilities. There is a good range of reasonably priced food and drinks available on site. Amazing sunset is a spectacle which draws residents onto the fine sandy beach. It is a little disappointing for us to have experienced somewhat slow service ( over 20 minutes for our breakfast ) around 8 am, in the Cafe next to the Reception. Quality of the mocktail drinks is also underwhelming in the poolside restaurant as they tasted bland and watery. Overall we feel the resort offers good value facilities for a relaxing holiday next to a tropical beach.

Extremely poor service, staff too rude, online booking but given a terrible room, cleaners behaving like boss very rude to customers. Breakfast extremely poor compare to the hotel so called 4 or 5 star. I will never return to this hotel again for life unless management take the above seriously to train the staff to be professional

Location was every thing, property a little dated, limited facilities, pool bar closed, but beach bar fabulous, would have been nice if opened for coffee in the morning. Beautiful restaurant and infinity pool, but you had to pay to use the infinity pool which I thought was a bit off as it was part of the resort and facilities, the common pool was fantastic tho and would have been better if pool bar had been open. Location made up for everything tho. Staff super nice and friendly grounds kept stunning, breakfast terrible.

Ideal resort for a family beachfront stay!
Holiday Villa Resort (Room 163): PROS: 1. Nice beachfront and pool bars with plenty of available lounge chairs; 2. Awesome large swimming pools with deep ends; 3. Massive, well-maintained property with great landscaping; 4. Perfect location – walk anywhere in Pantai Tengah and only about 25-30 minute walk to Pantai Chenang; 5. Room has attached balcony with table & chairs; 6. Nice bathroom/sink; 7. Secure/bolted safe deposit box to store valuables; 8. Room has workstation/chair; 9. Friendly, helpful staff throughout the resort; 10. Large community chess board in hotel lobby; 11. Great sunsets from the beach; 12. 24hr on-site café and room service; 13. AMEX, Visa, and digital payments accepted; 14. Do not disturb sign available. CONS: 1. ’King’ beds are 2 twin beds pushed together, resulting in a much smaller bed with an uncomfortable gap in the middle; 2. Very slow WiFi – I often chose to use my mobile data instead; 3. Aircon always cold even if you adjust the temperature and fan settings – I had to turn the aircon system off/on at intervals to keep an ideal room temperature; 4. Only 1 available power point in the room, and it’s not near the bed/nightstands; 5. Poor soundproofing between doors and outside/hallway; 6. Water smells of rust/metal; 7. Pool jacuzzi isn’t heated; 8. La Villa restaurant food isn't good (I tried several food items); 9. Shower glass partition isn’t sufficiently long enough to keep water off bathroom floor; 10. Room deposit required upon check-in.
This is my deluxe room "king" bed with uncomfortable gap in the middle resulting from two non-king beds being pushed together :(

I wanted a quiet beach-front relaxing weekend and that is exactly what I got. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa was amazing and the staff were experienced - what a treat! The beach was clean and well-maintained with a small cafe to order snacks and drinks. The main restaurant overlooks the beach and it was a lovely setting to eat dinner and watch the sun go down. The food was good enough - nothing amazing (first-world living has spoiled me probably) but good food. I'd go back as it was excellent value for money.

The overall ambience of the hotel is nice, with very friendly and helpful staff from the concierge, front office, room service, restaurants etc. The resort has direct access to the beach and water activities.

Our stay was amazing. Loved both of the swimming pools, very relaxing. Enjoyed the beach bar and sitting having a cocktail in the evenings. We have visited before and would definately stay again.

Child friendly hotel. They have indoor playground for kids. Private beach & very big pool. Room is very roomy (we had a studio room with Garden View). Love the sofa bed. BUT there's only 1 free socket plug available. I had to rotate between boiling water & charging 2 hp & 1 iPad. Friendly & helpful staffs. Love the hotel overall.

On the whole the stay was good, the property is looking a little run down and things like the swim up bar were closed, there is a club area where you can swim and order drinks from, but there is a daily surcharge for this which makes no sense as it is all part of the resort. The beach bar area was good, but closes too early.

Great place, friendly staff and very convenient location. Very close to a mall and other shops. Access to other activities like jet skiing, paragliding, etc as well. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming here again!

Took so long wait at check in. Went around 3pm and room isn't ready. Came back at 5pm and yet still the rooms are not cleaned yet. FO MANAGER is very rude and threatened me. Instead of fixing the problem, he blamed in on house keeping staff. Really disappointing to have got a bad service and being rude to us. Will think twice again to stay in the near future.
