Relaxing holidayPosted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: We liked pretty much everything.
Cons: We cannot think of anything, everything was fine to us
Location: Location is convenient close to a well equipped beach. We advise to rent a car to drive through the island, which is beautiful
We spent a nice holiday at this hotel, which is up to its nominal star level. The staff were all kind and our room was very clean. We were on a buffet breakfast scheme and the variety and quality of food was excellent. The hotel is very well kept and not noisy. It is located close to a private beach, which is clean with crystal clear water.

Best hotel I've ever stayed inPosted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: So many quirky features, like the aquaria in tunnel to annexe, indoor waterfall with plants like an enormous greenhouse area...
Location: only a short walk to the beach, and seafront walkway that leads to Rubicon marina.
We were only there for a weekend - flew into Lanzarote for a family wedding - but wished we could have stayed longer.

Muchos servicios y muy bonitoPosted Aug 31, 2015
La única incidencia es que tuve que esperar a las 15h a que me dieran la habitación pese a que en mi reserva decía que a las las 12h

Lovely family hotel, excellent staffPosted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: Staff, facilities, location
Cons: Room servicing
Location: 30 mins from the airport, restaurants, bras, beach, marina
We have a 9 month old baby and for us the hotel was perfect, however, 9+ months ago I would have struggled being here as a couple. The hotel, staff, facilities etc are excellent and we would happily return. Location is great and lots of restaurants and bars within easy reach plus hotel across the promenade. Only complaint is that the rooms are a little dark lacking natural light (but helped baby sleep in so not all bad!) and that for a room with a couple, the two beds (common practice I know) are made up as 2 singles pushed together, whereby we fought each night with the covers, despite requesting them be made up as one, and my husband had fun slipping down between the beds each night!!! Also, having no complimentary water and having to request via room service for packet coffee and little creams every day is not ideal - surely they should be topped up daily without guests chasing in a 5 star?!?! Overall a great 4 star hotel but a couple of tweaks would elevate it to where it should/ professes to be.

Gourmet RelaxationPosted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: The hotel was well organised and had a great selection of restaurants including 3 a la carte We tried them all and were impressed
Location: Located mid way between the Marina and the harbour with a pleasant walkway to both with views towards Feurteventura and Isle de Lobos
We stayed at the Princesa Yaiza hotel from 9th to 19th July 2015 and were delighted by the warm welcome, the spacious room, secluded balcony and the relax package which involved an a la carte breakfast each morning (adults only) in the Isle de Lobos restaurant and access to the Thalasso Spa (seawater) pool Turkish bath and Sauna (again adults only). The breakfasts were superb and with the Spa bookended our day.

Most luxury restort in Playa BlancaPosted Jun 26, 2015
When we arrived the porter took are bags and took them too our room. When checking in we were offered a glass to drink being champagne, wine or water. The staff are so helpfully giving you all the information you need. This resort is huge! Different types of restaurants 2 being buffet all you can eat. I would highly recommend eating at the Thai restaurant, they put in a amazing performance whilst cooking your food. Multiple swimming pools children being separated from adults. 1 children's 1 heated and 1 sea salt. 1 children's hot tub and 1 adult hot tub. This resort it right on the beach walk out the back and there's a cocktail bar and sandy beach. 2 minutes walk to the right of the resort and there's a town. 5/10 minute walk to the left is the marina where there's more shops and restaurants. There's also a spa there. So there's plenty to do. We had a junior suite, which was more than big enough for 2 of us. You have a huge bed with a seating area. You get a balcony with a sea view (as requested) and you can see for miles! We spent most nights sat out on the balcony looking out. I really recommend this hotel, it caters for everyone couples and family's. We got a shared transport from the airport to the hotel and every hotel we stopped at, not one looked as nice as this one. Highly recommend :-)

Well run, great food, entertainment noisy at timesPosted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: The hotel is spacious with lots of wood, plus two large pools (heated and saltwater). Very relaxing. Prices are fair. Staff are excellent.
Cons: The breakfast chairs need a thorough clean. The entertainment staff need to learn some lessons in sound management.
Location: Perfect spot just up the hill from the town of Playa Blanca. Beach is excellent, sand with areas of parasols. Quieter than Playa Del Carmen
It's a quiet, big, homely place, where no-one bothers you. There are no restrictions on bringing your own food into what is a suite/hotel complex. Rooms have fridge and cooking facilities. The three main restaurants serve up an excellent array of buffet food. So good, the week we were there, that we didn't venture into the specialist restaurants. Prices of drinks and food, including the mini bar are set exactly where they should be. No rip offs or worries about bills. Only two down sides for us (he 67, she 55): The chairs used for breakfast had not be cleaned for some time. Sticky hand residues at lifting points and on the arms were common, not excessive, just annoying in what was otherwise a very clean environment. Our biggest complaint was that the entertainment was sometimes much too loud. In the kids arena (the main stage) noise levels were well above what I consider acceptable, and were potentially damaging to children's hearing. When we watched the Champion's League Final the commentary was too loud and being interfered with by the sound from the show just outside. The waiters kept leaving open the doors for their convenience and ultimately the commentary sound was turned up further to compensate. We left before the end of the match. Totally unnecessary. Overall, these faults are easy to remedy.
