Laramie Comfort

Posted Dec 30, 2016
Pros: convenient location...breakfast availability.
Stay at Quality Inn was a good valuable and comfortable. Breakfast is a good plus...even though sometimes due to number of hotel visitors and the communication between staff and front desk...can run out of food. Rooms clean and beds very sleep worthy.

Comfortable and convenient

Posted Oct 6, 2015
We stopped in Laramie for the night and were very happy to not leave our hotel at all that evening. The pool and hot tub were great, and we could get pizza delivery to our room for no extra charges. The bed was very comfortable. Just what we needed!

Pros: It's close to the University of Wyoming, which we needed.
You have to know that in this hotel,if you leave pajamas,a book or anything at all on the unmade bed they will not make it for you. The bed itself was very comfortable, the front desk staff excellent. Housekeeping was terrible - wet towels refolded, sink not cleaned at all, trash left on sink,no new trash sacks in bins, coffee not replenished, used coffee pouch left in the coffee pot,any used cups left where they stood. I spoke to the front desk, they said the management was struggling with their housekeepers not doing a good job. For $257 the stay wasn't worth it,and despite the polite staff I will not be staying there again. Breakfast was fine, perfectly adequate for what we needed.

Jane- thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback with us. I apologize that we were not able to make your stay a more pleasant one. Our policy for housekeeping is that we do not disturb guests' personal property in order to make the beds- we are sorry that this caused your stay to be less enjoyable. In addition, we strive to consistently provide superior housekeeping for our guests- I have spoken with our housekeeping staff regarding failing to provide our guests with the services we offer and we have also been engaged in consistent training and quality inspections to ensure our rooms are always clean and comfortable for our guests. I hope that you will consider staying with us again on your next trip to the University so that we can provide you with a superior experience.

Good location for our needs

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Please see above.
Cons: The smell/aroma of the hotel was old and off-putting.
Location: Near the university and plenty of choice for fast-food restaurant options. Downtown is a good 30 minute walk/10 minute drive. Quick access to hwy's.
Comfort Inns have been very reliable for us and this site was no different. By no means luxurious, this accommodation was comfortable, clean and provided two good night's rest. No noise issues, reasonable breakfast and reliable wi-fi. Exercise facilities were excellent.

Need better training for front desk

Posted Dec 11, 2014
Pros: Clean, quite, good location
Cons: Better training for front desk clerk.
Over all the hotel is in a good location and in good condition. Room was clean, quite and comfortable for my one night stay. My only complaint is that when I checked in, the front desk girl was new and not train well. What didn't make it any better the "so called manager" stood behind her and yelled things like, "don't do that" and don't tell her that" and then contiuned to go on and on about some legal issues with Expedia (who I booked thru). All of this was very disturbing to me. The front desk clerk then asked me for a credt card. I asked her why? As my room was already paid for. She said it was for "incidentals". I know that means i.e. roomservice, phone, movies. Things not included in your room rate. I ordered none of these during my stay. So you can imagine my surprise when I was contacted the next day by my Bank that there was a charge made on my credit card and my "card was not present". And that charge was for the full amount of my room rate. Which was already paid for. It has taken 7 day's and several phone calls to get the amount refunded to my card. And being told that the front desk clerk "made a mistake". Again, some proper training and a little professionalism would go a long way.

Cindi, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay with us. I apologize that you did not have a more pleasant experience during your check in- we have since conducted extensive training with our front desk staff to ensure they know the proper procedures for assisting our guests in order to provide the most convenient and quick check in process. I'm glad we were able to get the issue with your payment straightened out and again apologize that it took so long. We hope to see you again on your next trip through Laramie so as to be able to provide you with a superior experience.
