Unhelpful, rude, and uncaring staff

Pros: location and clean room
Cons: Marriott should retrain the staff, starting with the Manager, on customer care and concern. They were both sorely lacking at this location.
Location: Stay at another hotel.
first off, at arrival on 6/16/17 in late afternoon, waited in line behind the security person who was talking to the desk clerk for 15 minutes even though the desk clerk was aware of our presence. After check-out the next day on the road to Mazatlán, Mexico I became aware that I had left my $75 pillow in hotel. That evening from the Hotel in Durango, Mexico I called the hotel. The desk clerk almost immediately put me on hold. I waited 18 minutes and hung up since I was on an international call. Tried again and as the clerk answer the phone and I said who I was, she hung up on me. Then my husband dialed the hotel again and no one answered. On our return from Mazatlán, on our way to Dallas, TX which is where we lived we stopped by to talk to someone about the issue. I was referred to the housekeeping lady named Mary. She tried to help but she said she would need the manager to speak to us. When she returned she said the Manager, Nancy De La (something rather) said she was too busy to talk to us and for her to take our phone # and if the pillow was found they would call us. Never received a call except from Gloria Zotelo whom I imagine was Lead Housekeeping. She verified that the pillow she had was mine and she said she would sent it. Though Housekeeping were the only ones worth something in that hotel, I never received the pillow. it has been 17 days long enough for that pillow to arrive if they had sent it.

Expedia falls lack of expectations

The hotel was very good, nothing to complain. When making reservations, expedia showed that breakfast was included. But it was not.

Horrible dirty motel with nothing working

The ice machines didn't work, the water was shut off for 5 hours in the middle of a Saturday, no warning before I checked in, the room keeping was awful, there were roaches in our room, we found them in the microwave and awoke with them in our beds, the toilet ran nonstop, the sliding glass door was broken, and I was charged and extra $360 and nobody can tell me why. The staff were rude and unhelpful. Even after housekeeping came our room was dirty and beds not made.

Nice place to stay and not too spendy.

Pros: They had drinks in the lobby as well as a Starbucks in the lobby. Beer available as well.
It was a pleasant stay. Clean room but my room overlooked the interstate and a little loud, especially the motorcycles. It was clean and the towels were soft. The a/c made some extraneous noise, but not too bad. All in all it was enjoyable. .
