“Todo estuvo increible”

“It was a beautiful place, lovely to relax in, service was excellent, love the gardeners, love the llamas (or alpacas - unclear), lovely jacuzzi. Could fit twelve people or six alpacas in the jacuzzi and still have room to do laps. Unfort we were incredibly incapable of temperature regulation (possibly our fault). The dome became a whole greenhouse during the day and outside was somehow too cold unless you were in the jacuzzi. Also the drinking water situation was a challenge - BYOW. ”

“Beautiful room, staff was very helpful. Gardens around the facility were amazing inviting lots of birds. Saw at least two species of hummingbirds here. Was a bit of a trek from the train station, clear across town but the ambience was worth it. ”

“Wonderful staff and manager Hector. They were always friendly and ready to help in whatever way we needed. The only suggestion for the resort would be to increase the pathway lighting. At night , it is is really hard to see the way back to the cabins.”

“There are very few places that can truly be rated 5 star. For us, five star means, beautiful grounds, peaceful, clean, and safe location, and helpful staff. During our stay, Kuychi Rumi earned this highest rated due to the fantastic rooms, room service, and their prompt manager Johan. He went above and beyond his call of duty to make sure we felt at home. “Ollantaytambo is a very small remote town so there aren’t a lot of hotel options. This is a very cute little hotel with cute lobby area and a nice garden area. It’s 15-20 min walk away from the train station (to Machu Picchu). Quick 10 min walk away from the Ollantaytamobo ruin and from the plaza. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and tentative. I would recommend staying here. ”

“Hotel is very conveniently located. Staff are very friendly. They kindly stored our luggage prior to our trip to Matchu Picchu and that was very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable with basic amenities. Breakfast was good. As a minor suggestion, it would add a great value if hot water kettle and tea options could be provided in the room or in a common location as we noted in other hotels we stayed during our trip. “Loud street noise but good staff and conditions”

“This is a family ran lodge with plenty of character. Rudy and Claudia are very helpful and attentive The dogs, cat, llama and little rabbit are super friendly as well. Perfect place to kick back and relax, it is a little tough to get in and out of there so plan accordingly. The place is a little rough on the edges, but that is the exact appeal. It’s a work in progress. Walking distance from the Maras Salt Mines through a little village Overall, I’d come back and would recommend ”
