Value for Money Budget Accommodations.

Posted Dec 17, 2016
Pros: Friendly staff. Location.
Cons: Room amenities (lots of toilet paper, but little else). I would only recommend this property to a budget-conscious friend or student.
Location: Please refer to above paragraphs.
Friendliness and professionalism of front desk staff is this hotel's greatest strength (with directions, serves. The rest, well, you have to remember you are in a budget hotel. My room did not look like the photos. The courtyard view was a view of....a wall (staff said the building about 30ft from the balcony was new). Breakfast wasn't included with my rate - and I got the feeling I dodged a bullet. Room was musty, bed linens unimpressive. Upside: new flatscreen tv with BBC, MBC2 and other English-language channels, strong WiFi in room was included in rate, tea kettle was so clean that soap/cleaning liquid still inside it caused a soapy boiler over that could put a nightclub foam party to shame (but not tea, coffee, sugar, etc. provided). Hotel lobby and hallways were chilly - perhaps the open stairwell door where random shopping carts/trolleys are stored caused the cold winter draft. The hotel is two streets back from the major tourist-laden beach road - which is a good thing...because you have walking access to the stores, restaurants and coffee shops most tourists won't be bothered to go to: a good way to chill, hear Greek and take in the opening party of a coffee chain, or enjoy a happy hour without having to endure loudmouth visiting drunks. Last, consider using the Expedia shuttle service: they were 100000% professional, on time, courteous - especially for late/early flight, as I had.

Very good value for money, the hotel is located just 5 minutes walk from the beach and the intercity bus station of Foinikoudes. It also has a 24-hour grocery store in the same building (operated by the person at the reception in the late hours), great if you need a late-night bite.

Check-in was swift and easy, the hotel has a 24 hour reception service as well as an attached 24 hour minimarket - ultra useful. They were very helpful, providing info on excursions both in and out of Larnaca, even booking a bus tour to the north for me and explaining how to get to the bus stop. Very easy to spot from the street, and the airport bus stops practically right outside. Some reviews say that the place stinks of smoke - there's a faint smell, but it really didn't bother me, especially once I was in my apartment. The whole place is very clean and attractive-looking, with a lift and fairly modern, clean (but slightly Spartan) apartments. It's literally a short seven minute walk to the marina and beach, and less to get to the centre of Larnaca. An excellent stay and very good value for money.

Basic Hotel in the noisy centre of Larnaca

This is a low cost hotel so don't expect 4 or 5 star amenities. You get what you pay for which is a basic but reasonably sized apartment. The location is a couple of blocks from the beach close to the main shopping areas on a busy street used by boy racers throughout the night and with a Karaoke bar across the road open till the early hours of the morning. Having said that the hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful so, if you are on a tight budget, it is well worth consideration.

Hotel located close to very busy street

Posted Apr 5, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: staff very helpful
Cons: windows should isolate street noise.
Location: extremely noisy location, close to bus stop and walking distance to beach.
Hotel is located close to very busy street, rooms located on street side have one layer glasses in windows so I was not possible to sleep because street is busy all night. Breakfast was worst I ever seen in any hotel, toast bread, butter and yellow cheese and hum which I didn't have enough courage to try. I will for sure do not call it buffet breakfast. Staff very helpful and polite, 24h shop downstairs with wide wines selection in good prices.
