Excellent overall - would have been better if there was rooms available at the time with a king or queen beds for a family instead of just full. Other than that, excellent atmosphere and great location for those exploring White Sands, Cloudcroft/Lincoln Forest, and surrounding area.

We loved Everything about this hotel that not only did we stay there on our way to Arizona we stayed there coming back going home to Odessa Texas

Nice, but secure your back entrance!
For the price, the look, cleanliness, and friendliness and professionalism of the staff was pretty darn good. My only complaint is the lack of any real physical security via the back entrance to the hotel. Both large wooden doors were simply propped open a little bit and the metal gate allowing entry to the back courtyard was not locked either. I suspect this condition remained all night. Shouldn't the wooden doors at least be card entry only?!?!
