Not what we've come to expect

For any other hotel, our experience would have been considered better than average, but since we have stayed in several other Staybridge Hotels with excellent service and breakfasts, we were left feeling a little bit flat in Las Cruces. The night manager seemingly had most of his relatives visiting the hotel, and they were all crowded around the front desk, leaving my wife and I feeling as if we had checked into a family-owned motel out in the sticks. The eggs were ice cold, the toaster didn't work, and the lady serving breakfast was efficient but slow.
We are happy to spend a few extra dollars for what we have come to expect, and have previously received in service and value, at Staybridge. While this experience wasn't wholly a bad one at all and we will still go to Staybridges in the future, it is doubtful that this particular hotel will receive our patronage again.
