"The room I got smelled like bleach was poured inside the room. It’s not ventilated well and to think I pay extra $20 per day for upgrade and I end up with irritated eyes, nausea and headache while staying in the room for an hour and after leaving for 30 minutes I feel better but felt bad again once I enter the room and inhale the toxic fumes inside the room. "The room was not cleaned no microwave nothing was told about breakfast not very welcoming the resort fees are add when you get there keep in mind they held 394 of my money I booked a non smoking room and was put in a smoking room there were people all in the hall way out side my room up until 5 am I called security and that didn’t work "

"Mixed experience: Great dining, but management simply "doesn't care." For a MICHELIN Key hotel, the hospitality was highly disappointing. The biggest issue was the dismissive attitude from management—when I reported the trash-filled pool and safety hazards (door stops in walkways), the manager claimed the pool area "wasn't their responsibility." This lack of accountability is unacceptable for a luxury property. Service was unprofessional, particularly regarding elevator access. The decor also feels lower quality than expected. On a positive note, La Fontaine was exceptional. However, I would skip the Chinese restaurant, Chyna Club. Great food doesn't justify management that refuses to take responsibility for basic cleanliness and guest safety."
