Cheap price but not worth it

Posted Nov 20, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The whole hotel needs to have better lighting
Location: The location was off the strip so you either had to walk a distance to get to the entertainment, or catch a cab
This hotel literally sits right next to the busy freeway. It's poorly lit, the maid service is shabby, some days they give you enough towels, somedays they don't. I don't think they changed my sheets the whole 5 days I was there. The mattress was shabby, no bedspread on the bed just a sheet with a thin blanket. The restaurant was "under renovation" so there was no vending machine and if you wanted ice you had to walk all the way downstairs to the Bar and ask for ice. The price was way cheaper than other hotels but it wasn't worth it in the long run. If I had to do it over again I'd pay the extra money for a better hotel. It's more of a party hotel so don't take your kids to this hotel, the pool has an "Optional" topless policy too.

The room was nice and the service was great. Only valet parking available. Only downside my shower was leaking a bit

Clean but aging

Posted Nov 11, 2015
Clean but the contractors that did the job had poor performance for example if you sit on the commode its crooked, the bathtub is crooked. Okay if you just going to crash there I guess. Had I known SLS had availability I would have stayed there for just a few dollars more.

Very weird. Dark, creepy. Front desk very nice.

Posted Nov 5, 2015
Pros: The night time desk clerk who was awesome. Nothing else.
Cons: Clean it. Brighten it up. Put a clock in the room along with decent furniture that's not all marked up. Vacuum!!!!
Location: Horrible surroundings. Close to convention center -- but stay at another place. I was on business but this is NOT a FAMILY place,
It was so dark and grungy, dirty feeling that I got up at 5:30 AM and went to the airport 3 hours early. It's weird. Cultish. Off down under the highway, next to a strip club and major electricity grid. No taxes to be found and no one tells you. You have to call them yourself. I will never stay there again. But, the front desk gal at night was superior. She helped me when I lost my cell phone and was the only thing that made me feel safe.

Great experience. I will definitely stay here again. The staff was great. The room was great. The decor is unique. My favorite hotel in Vegas by far.

Cool atmosphere

Very beautiful inside and out, staff is very nice and accommodating. Very quiet during the week and busy on weekends. Only problem was location to the strip and downtown, not in walking distance.

Unpleasant first stay Artisan Hotel.

Posted Oct 10, 2015
Pros: nothing
Cons: give my money back
Location: location was funny but GPS was able to pin-point it with no problem. I can smoke in front of the exit and look at people.
Arrived and shocked by "valet only". Young valet boy was polite and appropriate but the old one is something else. Entered the lobby and was shocked again by its darkness. Walked up to the front desk and did our check in, and shocked again by a list of initials which is longer than jail rules. Walked to the elevator and shocked again by its clunking and slow speed. Entered the room and found there was not even a chair or sofa, as well as its poor lighting. While staying, the whole place was bombing us with none-stopping music, door-slamming noise over and over till 6 am, and the bed mattress was sagging.
