Pleasant hotel about 20 minutes away from Strip

Pros: Convenience to attractions as well as the Strip
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing. We had stayed at a BW a few days earlier and their breakfast was much fresher looking with a greater selection,.
Location: Vegas! Hoover Dam! restaurants.
I chose a restaurant away from the Strip and convenient to both Hoover Dam and the airport. The BW was quiet yet convenient to each as well as to restaurants.

Henderson Hotel

Pros: Good location in Henderson. Nice breakfast. Modern hotel.
Cons: Change carpets
Location: It was an easy 20 minute drive to the LV Strip, and close to several other locations around Las Vegas and Henderson
The room was average. Quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was good quality with plenty of options. Parking was a bit tight and late arriving at night meant driving around to find a parking spot. The lobby was ample and welcoming, but the facilities, including a broken back door and other public door handles looked dated. The carpets along the corridors were dirty and had lots of splotches.

It was a great hotel experience, almost no downsides. The breakfast was also very good. Very helpful staff, very clean, rooms well fitted.

Newer Hotel

Excellent breakfast, very nice decor. Rooms were very comfortable with refrigerator and microwave. Staff was excellent. Lots of maintenance and cleaning going on so you could see that they wanted to keep everything nice. The only problem with this hotel was that there were no amenities close by. You will have to get in your car and drive several blocks for restaurants.

Nice clean hotel convenient to highways

Pros: The location and amenities. A quiet safe area on the outskirts of Las Vegas. Convenient drive to Hoover Dam.
Cons: The hotel is well maintained. The only small thing I saw was that the automatic lock on the rear door by the pool was not working properly.
Location: Quiet, safe industrial area outside of the city. Highways are near, travel to Hoover Dam was smooth, easy from this location. Food and shopping nearby
The Henderson Best Western Plus Hotel is located in a quiet area in Henderson with shopping and restaurants within a 2 mile radius. The hotel staff are professional and friendly. The rooms are very clean and well appointed for the business, family and leisure traveler. Breakfast is served daily and there is a full selection of fresh prepared and self serve items like waffles, eggs, potatoes, cereals, bread, milks, juices, tea and coffees. The selection also includes gluten free items for those with food sensitivities. The hotel has a nice fitness area, small pool in back and laundry area with full size washer and dryers. I would definitely return to this hotel. It is well maintained and comfortable.

Checking in.

We requested a king bed. After checking in and going to our room there were two queen beds. Went back to the check in desk and with a little exasperation on the clerks part we were given a room with a king bed. When we went to our room the electronic room key wouldn't work. We went back to the check in desk and were given two more keys. We went back to our room and those keys wouldn't work either. We then went back to check in and the same thing happened with the keys. The clerk called a maintenance work who went up to our room with us along with two new room keys. The maintenance guy used something other than the electronic key to open the door. When I closed the door and handed him the electronic room key, neither key would work. We went back to the front desk and asked for a refund/cancellation and then went to another hotel. The front desk clerk should have given us a third room and made sure the keys would work but that didn't happen.

We apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered this past week. Our city was at high occupancy with the National Broadcasters Association convention in town. We are limited with room types for a period of almost 10 days. Please be advised that the cancelation cannot be processed by us at the hotel. Our front desk tried to explain this but you left. Expedia should be contacted to process any reservations that were originated thru them.
