Perfect for family

It was close to the strip. The staff was friendly and the check in was fast and easy. They will try to get you to do a timeshare presentation but at least they weren't pushy about it. The only thing I disliked about the whole stay was the awful carpet smell after they cleaned it. .Other than that everything was great.

Pros: everything
Cons: It's easy to bump yourself on the bed because the wood sticks out, also in my room I wish you had light switches other than the lamps by the bed.
Location: I get tickets on the monorail and go to the shows, like love, michael jackson, elton john
I didn't like the husslers in the ticket purchacing section. You need honest staff to sell tickets like last year. I miss your breakfast!

Pros: It provided a comfortable, attractive place for us to relax and enjoy time with each other in a variety of settings right there in the resort.
Location: Very close to Hooter and MGM Grand. walked the strip and with day-passes to Deuce bus, took trips to Fremont St. (Container Park & Le Thai) & a show.
My brother and 3 sisters and I met in Las Vegas for a Sibling Getaway. We chose Desert Rose Resort because we wanted a kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to deal with our food sensitivities and even prepare smoothies. Desert Rose truly is a resort setting. Our 2 suites surrounded a plant & tree filled courtyard. The pool/jacuzzi area was next to a huge outdoor lounge/grill space. The lobby is equally inviting with a variety of seating areas. We were happy to have a fitness center and business office as well. Our stay was made especially fun by the help we received from the friendly and enthusiastic staff, especially Kristyl. She made helpful suggestions on how to get around, where to do morning runs, grocery delivery, restaurants, even reviews of the many shows she had seen.

Very loud and outdated.

Hotel sits just off the strip and rooms are not soundproof. It's very loud and bright. Curtains did not block light and our room was next to the entry gate meaning wall shaking noise constantly all night. Room decor is outdated, bathroom is very small and doesn't have a proper counter/vanity. Old worn mattress and stained headboard.

I requested Strip view when booking this room and instead I got the street view. Doors from hotel need to be fixed. You could hear when someone leaves or returns back. Door slamming all night!! Restroom was small! Toilet it right beside the shower. Internet your only able to connect 2 devices, if you connect more than 2 they charge an extra 59.95. Besides all that everything was okay. Room is clean.

Nice resort within walking distance to MGM

Pros: Location is great!
Cons: The suite is a bit older and could use some upgrading
Resort is going through renovations but did not bother us during our stay. We had a two bedroom suite and it was very nice, roomy, with full kitchen. The rooms could use some upgrading and remodeling but still nice. Location is perfect! It is quiet but is also close to Hooters which is across the street from MGM and the monorail station.

This is more of a timeshare but it's nice that it is walking distance from the strip and doesn't charge resort fees or for parking. I've stayed here many times before. They no longer offer a continental breakfast and they do not have a housekeeping staff. If you are staying for more than 2 days it kinda sucks because trash and bedding will need changing. not sure if I'll stay here again.
