Did not expect much, Got even less

Pros: Close to LV Convention Center
Cons: Customer service, late arrival
Flight came in late due to winter delays, the hotel office was locked by the time I arrived. Security guard told me that he cannot help, I was on my own to look for another place to stay overnight. The thing is, I had a reservation and called ahead the hotel from airport where my flight was connecting, to notify that I was arriving late. They told me that there was no issue. I was stuck at midnight with no hotel and dead phone at the time when most hotels were completely booked due to large convention. I was thankful to find a room for the night at another hotel for double the price. As for hotel itself, you get what you pay for. Only a few blocks away from the convention center, that was the main positive. The rooms are outdated, but more or less clean. Mattress should have been replaced a decade ago, blinds did not work but TV and shower did. All I needed for the night on a business trip.

Dangerous Location and Terrible Staff

Location: Dangerous area with homeless and drug addicts
Both Expedia & Emerald Suites jeopardized my business trip. Terrible overall experience with both Expedia and Emerald Suites. The itinerary was booked thru expedia, landing at 10:06PM, Hotel Check In until 10PM, guaranteed my room for late arrival. - Took off at 7:08PM Eastern Time and Landed at 10:06PM Pacific Time (6 Hour Flight) - Arrived at Hotel at 11:00PM and the receptionist would not allow me to check-in. She took my license and said "sorry, check-in time is until 10PM and I will get fired if I make any exceptions." I asked "where should I stay, it's 11:30pm at night and I have no place to stay." The receptionist then said "this is not my problem and called security." - See pictures of Receptionist inside hotel on her iphone and security guard doing nothing or caring about my safety or situation - Walked to the nearest gas station at 12am and called Expedia. No emergency services number can be found on the expedia itinerary so I just called the number that read "Need help with your Reservation." - Spoke to an Expedia agent at around 12:15am after being transferred around 4 or 5 times with agents that English was clearly not their first language. I was in a very dangerous area in Las Vegas and required a hotel ASAP to get sleep and be crisp for my meetings the next day. They could not understand the urgency of the situation which was very frustrating - Expedia checked me into another Hotel. Was not able to check-in until 2am & cost me $1200 extra.

Hookers Den

No toilet paper, No changing towel, No hangers, No cup, No hair dyer,..etc. DO NOT GO THERE! I paid $10 cleaning fee per day but there never cleaned the room and even changed my towel. I asked front desk to change the towel, but they asked me to wash the towel myself. I called Expedia and expedia called them too. I got the exactly the same answer from expedia. This is a hookers den.!!!

Good choice for off strip hotel

Ended up here due to booking late. Found the place had just been renovated and everything was in tip top shape. My room had a small kitchenette which turned out to be a god send. Staff were warm and helpful. Location is near the mono-rail and made it easy to come and go. I will use this hotel again.

Bad Night!!!

Definitely a 1 to 2 Star hotel experience...front desk employees were very pleasant....bed linen was threadbare and grubby, pillows were lumpy and small.the bed was extremely noisy (squeeky) and flat. The outdoor pool was not maintained at all. The area is not desireable to walk in. Could hear upstairs customer crying off and on all night??? Asked for late checkout and were awakened at 6:30 A.M. by housekeeping to ask if we were checking out???? Smelled smokey in a non smoking room. Bad night!!!!!
