The Strip is great, but you must add an evening down on Freemont to your agenda. View from my room at the Tropicana, looking at New York Casino. #GoldenHour#Colorful Paddleboarders Well, as the saying goes New York New York, Las Vegas Big Rig Jig: Twisted Tanker Trucks by Mike Ross. One thing I love about Old Las Vegas is finding big giant pieces of art around town. This 50 foot tall sculpture was created for Burning Man 2007 #bigrigjig #oldlasvegas #freerangeart #burningman #dontfencemein This building was designed by Frank Gehry and reminds me somewhat of the Walt Disney Concert Hall located in downtown Los Angeles, also designed by Gehry. This one I think is quirkier. It was completed in 2007. It is a center for brain health, specifically for the study and treatment of Alzheimer's.
#architecture Night view high above Las Vegas, full of street lights and #colorful neon signs #patterns The once famous sign boneyard has now been corporatised and is now the Neon Museum offering hour long tours daily. Our guide was very knowledgable and shared a lot of the signs history and the history of the strip in general, well worth the hour and admission fee.
This is one of the coolest things I've seen in Vegas this is in the old Vegas Fremont Historical District. The Golden Nugget is your typical Hotel & Casino but the pool sets it apart. The water slide goes through a SHARK Tank it was so awesome I really want to stay here. It's just EPIC! Water, land and air create such a beautiful backdrop. This place is in the heart of old downtown Las Vegas. You can watch interesting and entertaining street acts plus the nightly Fremont Street Experience for free. Wow! Water is LIFE! Paddle boarding Beautiful place to visit. #Winterwonders A mighty Fremont Street has lost some of its draw with the massive growth of the Strip casinos to the south, but the downtown street still has a retro appeal. The Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino is amazing at night. Indoor gondola is great but if you can wait for sunset time then I would suggest to opt for the outside ride.
#colorful #BestOf5 Walking along the Strip, I took this shot of the Flamingo. Ride Em cowboy. #Colorful A If a regular run of the mill clown is creepy, how does that creep factor parlay unto a giant neon clown? Cheeseburger, animal style! When we left to go here we had intentions to roam around and take pictures of the old signs. However they require you to be with a tour guide and there weren't any tours until 12:30 and we didn't want to sit around for an hour and a half. So I equipped my go pole and gopro and and took pictures over the fence. The 4 of us saved so much and still caught some marvelous pictures. Ceiling in Paris Las Vegas

In addition, the Golden Nugget offers a 13-table smoke-free poker room with daily Texas Hold'em tournaments.
