Pros: Location
Away from the hustle of "the strip" with nice casino with 11 or more good restaurants, nearby. Quite, clean, great amenities.

Great stay after some confusion

Posted Jan 12, 2017
It was a great stay overall. When we first got to our suite it the bed was not made and there was dirty dishes in the sink. I called the front desk right away and they were very accommodating. They gave us a new suite and had security run the keys to us. After that everything was great.

Thank you for your feedback on our resort. We apologize for the original unit you had. At least, we were able to move you to a more suitable one immediately and everything got better afterwards. Nothing would be better than to see you again in the future for another memorable time in Las Vegas.

Very nice and clean hotel.

Posted Jan 11, 2017
Pros: Very quite and comfortable. It is a timeshare hotel, which has a kitchen and other equipment for cooking.
Very comfortable and quite place. It was little too far from place where I was attending workshop but it was worth driving the distance for comfortable and quite nights.

Grandview Hotel

Posted Jan 9, 2017
The room itself was the best part of the stay. It was beautiful and extremely comfortable! It was a studio room. However, they don't have housekeeping services unless you're staying for 3days or more and so if you need towels or bedsheets, it's hard to acquire. The hotel staff was okay. Not too friendly with the exception of a few. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel if you can't find yourself one on the Vegas strip.

Sandy, thank you for this kind review on The Grandview at Las Vegas. We are so happy you liked our beautiful and comfortable units. For your knowledge, guests staying six or more days receive a mid-week housekeeping service on the fourth day of their scheduled stay. Daily maid service is available upon request at an additional charge. Nevertheless, we thank you for recommending our resort to others visiting Las Vegas and we hope to see you again!

Stayed for a business trip

Posted Jan 9, 2017
Cons: The free wi-fi was poor. Kept disconnecting so I used my hot spot on my phone.
A bit off the beaten path but this is a really nice facility. It's a condo so it really well suited for a vacation and not directed to the business traveler per se. No restraints on property , but there is a big casino next door with quite a few choices. A 5 minute walk gets you there, there are golf carts to give you a ride also.

Nice spacious room but you need your car

Posted Jan 9, 2017
Pros: Spacious room and quiet neighborhood.
Cons: On site cafe/deli was much less than I expected. Unless you go to the casino next door or take a taxi to go into town, you would be in trouble.
Location: Close enough to the Strip.
The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, no house keeping services. It comes with a full kitchen, washer and dryer; suitable for a family vacaion.

Good facility, short trip to the strip.

Posted Jan 8, 2017
Pros: Pretty landscaping, nice rooms. Good views of the valley and mountains.
Cons: A few restaurants on the resort grounds would be nice.
Location: Location was a bit isolated. Not much within walking distance.
The facility has nice family amenities. It is in a strange location, not close enough to the strip to be convenient and not far enough away to be a good family location. It's actually not that close to much of anything. Plan on taking an Uber or cab to get anywhere other than the SouthPoint Casino which is right next door. Not much else is within walking distance. The room was nice and had a good kitchen with full size appliances. Nice pools around the resort area.

Brian, we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We are happy you liked our rooms, landscaping, and picturesque views of the valleys and mountains. We are sorry if you found our location to be a bit isolated. It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Las Vegas Strip on purpose, so that our guests can have a little more peace and quiet. It would be great to welcome you back to The Grandview at Las Vegas again for another memorable vacation.

Beds are uncomfortable. Rude staff and if you want an extra coffee packet besides the 1 they give you for a 3 day staff they charge you $1 after you wait in line for 10 minutes.

Up scale Extended Stay style place 20min from town

Posted Jan 7, 2017
Pros: clean, decent space, easy parking, right off I-15
Cons: Room maintenance, check in and check out/
The hotel is a plain vanilla large, soul-less apartment meets Extended Stay America- a good 15-20 min drive from the airport away South West of the city. If you are planning to be in Vegas proper, a rental car is a must as the Uber/Lift fees will hurt. Checking-in at 12:30 am on Wed night took a mere 20min...this is a greyhound bus station/budget experience masquerading as something else...the building and the rooms are clean but cheaply built and cheaply maintained. Half of the light bulbs in my room didn't work, and maybe I missed it in the Expedia post, but it seems they only do made service once every four days. On the plus die, the room was clean, it had a pretty decent kitchen and enough space to work out of for a day. Went to check out and the line was long…needed to get to a meeting so left and thought I would call later to make sure there were no issues…then was on hold for 10 min… If you want a proper serviced hotel- this ain't it. I guess you get what you pay for a nothing more.
