In a quiet seclusive area. Nice.

Breakfast and dinner were good. Rooms sizeable. Enough beds - rollaway bed, sofa-bed, king beds. Sightly cold room, though. Overall, will use this hotel again and again.

Bedroom and bathroom amenities were great. Furniture in living room could have used some upgrades. Staff is understaffed in dining area, as well as housekeeping. The food was sub-par, there was a lot of waiting. In addition, our room was not ready when we checked in, so we had to wait.

Perfect for families with on exception

The toilets are weirdly shallow, go to wipe and your hand ends up in the water. Beyond gross, not sure if that will change anytime soon.

Great for visiting family

Posted Nov 29, 2015
Pros: Large room, good location
Cons: Updated amenities
Location: Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby
We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend while visiting relatives in Henderson. The hotel was nice, clean, and in a good location. The kitchen area was pretty old and in need of some updates but we didn't really use it so that wasn't a problem. The room was spacious and plenty large enough for 3 people. Bedding was clean but also old and not very comfortable. Nearby shopping and restaurants (typical suburban brands) were very convenient. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as a no-frills accommodation for those spending time in Henderson.

Hotel convenient to everything!

Great hotel that has every convenience nearby. 10 minutes from the strip. Great local restaurants as well. If you like Indian food stop by Taj Palace.

Suite stay during tennis tourney

Posted Nov 2, 2015
We enjoyed our stay at the Homewood Suites in Henderson. The staff was very helpful and even accomodating when we needed to change our reservation to a 2BR suite. It was a comfortable and clean place when we weren't on court. There were just some minor issues that I'm sure they'll address: 1) the hot tub jets were ineffective, as they seem to almost jet up instead of out, 2) one of our bedrooms had a phantom in the ceiling light/fan that turned one or both on in the early hours of the morning and 3) several of the breakfast items Sunday were not even warm when brought out.

Could've been MUCH, MUCH better

Hotel would NOT waive the fee for the first night, even though I wasn't able to get into town, because my flight was canceled (not my fault). Yes, I knew their cancellation policy. HOWEVER, most hotels are accommodating for such things. There was NO hot water available during my stay. The 2nd night, we experienced a small fire a few rooms down on the 3rd floor, which caused us to evacuate. Once everyone was outside, we began talking to each other, asking what each saw etc. There were no fire trucks, no emergency vehicles, and most of all, no advice or discussion from the hotel staff. They just stayed behind the counter, taking phone calls. In the end, word spread that someone burned something while cooking. All the hotel guests were kind of left to figure things out on their own, wondering if it was safe to go back to their rooms. Eventually, we did go back. An hour or so later, the fire alarm went off again. This prompted us to evacuate again. We never figured out what the issue was that 2nd time, but it didn't seem to be an actual fire. The hotel refused to refund for a missed night due to a flight issue, then had no hot water, and I got NO sleep that 2nd night due to a fire and a couple fire alarms... all with nearly no assistance or discussion from the hotel staff. Needless to say, it wasn't a good stay.
