Pros: great location for the car show
Cons: The food quality Tenders steaks were about the same quality as Waffle House and More's the food was for the most part should not have been served.
Only problem I had, did not receive my wake up call.

our stay in the luxorPosted Oct 4, 2015
Pros: the location was good near to other hotels
Cons: bigger bath towels needed
Location: vegas everything is near by there is lots to do within walking distance or you can use the monerail to hotels which were further away.

Too far from the rest of the stripPosted Oct 3, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, helpful concierges, nice swimming pool
Cons: Mix of restaurants
Location: The Titanic exhibit is pretty pricey at $ 35 considering it does not include headphones and very cold.
The hotel and its amenities are great, but the location is not ideal. It is too far from the center of the strip, so there is a lot of walking or learn the bus routes (which are quite accessible).

Cozy hotelPosted Oct 3, 2015
Luxor is a beautiful hotel. My one disgust was all the cigarette smoke while walking thru the casino.

The fridge that wasntPosted Oct 2, 2015
I find it hard to believe that in this day and age that a high end hotel doesn't have amenities such as a fridge or even a coffee maker in the room you have to up grade for them. It's just wrong that's all

Pay for pool chairs, if you don't want a broken 1Posted Oct 2, 2015
Pros: The room and the hotel ambiance was fun, easy to catch moving walkways and hotel tram, the buffet was nice we did lunch and there were nice hot choice
Cons: Pool experience, chairs not comfortable, broken and it would be nice if more than half the pool areas were not closed, there were plenty of lifeguard
Location: end of strip but easy access to getting to where you wanted to.
Clean Standard Rooms with slower than average check in times. The view from the room is nice with the mountains in the horizon. Pool was disappointing. On our stay, they had closed the main larger pools. There are five independent sections of the pools that create a fun creative view. But with only one smaller pool, which is usually reserved for those that want to pay extra, everyone was crowed into this area. Many of the chairs were broken and peeling paint, I can't imagine paying to sit in them at all. Some of the chairs with cabanas and umbrellas blocked any bit of view a non paying customer could have of the very cold pool, it was 100 degrees the day we were there and I like a cool pool but this was a biting cold like they just filled it. Shade was very hard to come by at all unless you paid for it. The next day they reopened 1 more section and it became the crowed open seating area and the area we were in the day before was all paid chairs only, just not a lot of room to spread out and for the price I paid for my room, there should have been a more relaxing pool experience, not impressed with their pool experience. It is not that special of a pool that the seating couldn't be more inviting and better chairs that were not ripped up, peeling paint and sagging in the middle. I had much higher expectations of this pool when I saw pictures online.

On the dirty sidePosted Oct 2, 2015
Hotel room had stained carpets, it just felt dirty. Bed mattresses seemed very old.

She is showing her agePosted Oct 2, 2015
Pros: The view of the sunrise over the moutains
Cons: Update it.
Location: Close to mandalay Bay which seemed more modern
It seemed dark and depressing. The exhibits about the sinking of the Titanic and Bodies did not help much. Navigation was confusing. Signage was inconsistent. All roads lead to the casino. Room AC was barely working. I guess this is what you get at that price

Really disappointedPosted Oct 2, 2015
Pros: Check in staff were very nice and so was the check out staff. Nice hotel outisde of the stolen money issue. Keep everything of value on your person.
Cons: More trustworthy housekeeping staff.
Location: We purchased 24 hour bus tickets and we were able to go on the strip with that and down to Freemont street.
Upon arrival we were very pleased with the Luxor and the staff. Day one of the trip our suite was not cleaned at all, we didn't raise a fuss over it because we just needed to sleep. Day two the suite was cleaned but the cleaning staff went into my friends suitcase and went into the clutch she carried out the night before and stole her money out of it. I noticed that they rumbled through my stuff as well. When we informed guest services they were very uninterested and I feel like they just went through the motions of taking the complaint, I seriously doubt if anything will come of it. Lock your suitcases and make sure you use the safe if need be. Me personally I kept everything of value on my person.

Beautiful view of the strip and skylinePosted Oct 2, 2015
This was our first time in Vegas so we didn't know what expect. Our hotel was nice and clean, the staff was kind and the food was fabulous. We will definitely come back and stay at the Luxor.
