Great Hotel in Vegas

Posted Feb 3, 2016
Pros: Varied choice of restaurants (fast food to fine dining). Guests rooms are very nice and well laid out.
Cons: Improving chances of winning on the slot machines. No one in our group did very well.
Location: There is a walkway to New York New York Casino, and the monorail will take you down the strip with various stops.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly from the Bellman to the check in Clerk to the Concierge to the Maid cleaning our room. As the hotel is so large, anyone you asked to help you in getting around was more than willing to help. Would definitely stay there again.

Un hotel espectacular, tiene mucha áreas de disfrute, desafortunadamente fuman en todos los lugares lo que hace que los que no fumamos no podamos disfrutar a plenitud este agradable hotel

MGM GRAND STAY WELL ROOM

Posted Feb 3, 2016
The room was very clean, but the air purifier smelled and caused the room to smell, too. Perhaps the filter needed changing. The beds were excellent. Most places that we've stayed have rock-hard beds that leave you with a really sore back. This place seems to 'get it' when it comes to comfortable bedding. It's just a shame that the room smelled. Overall, with anything in this part of "Vegas," everything costs 3 or 4 times more than where you live, and the businesses like to nickel and dime you for everything. For example, we had a fridge in our room, but we couldn't use it because it was stocked with drinks and food, which you would be charged a huge price for if you took any of it. If you picked up any of the food or drink items in the room, you had 40 seconds to put it back (no kidding)...or you would be charged for it (sounds like the kind of scene needed for a comedy). One other thing that we laughed about later was that the hotel keeps track of how many times you go in and out your door. Bummer for the hotel...our son has episodes of OCD and opened and closed the door a lot sometimes. (Perhaps the hotel was really trying determine how often their clients went out to gamble.)
