MGM GRAND

Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel and wait staff was excellent. Didn't have one bad experience with any of the employees. The food was also very good. Enjoyed the buffett immensely. I would recommend the MGM GRAND to anybody wishing to stay in Las Vegas.

Other than too much smoke, we had an awesome time. Because of the smoke, we limited our time in the casino and at the different sports bars.

We were disappointed in the bathroom, or lack of bathroom. There was no privacy for person using facilities in room. Mexican restaurant was great.

Room had drinks spiattered on the walls. Bed was comfortable but wish it had a little fridge.

The Concierge department was very helpful in obtaining tickets for The Charlie Daniels Band even when Ticketmaster said that no tickets were available. They found me 8th row VIP tickets. They also were happy to assist with printingmy boarding pass to save me a lot of time at the airport upon my return.

Very nice hotel

I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in and was told that my room had been upgraded from the west wing to a room on the 12th floor in the grand tower. The room was big, beautiful and clean with gorgeous views of the mountains and other buildings. The only thing I didn't like is the deposit they charge on top of the resort fees, but the deposit was released immediately upon checkout.

Big hotel that you can easily get lost in.

Cons: More lighting in room. Better signs with directions in the casino. No smoking in main areas of casino.
Location: It is located near the action on the strip.
I found hotel was too big and had to walk through the smokey casino to get in or out of it. Easy to get lost and not easy to find the exit to the street. There was very little lighting in the room.
