Massive hotel

Posted Sep 1, 2015
Mandaly bay is located at the south end of the strip close the the welcome to las vegas sign. There is a free tram that runs to excalabur. The hotel is massive, shops, restaurants, bars, casino, beach and a pool and even an shark reef. We didn't need to leave the hotel for much.

Cons: Didn't like how the pools are all walled off now.
Nice weekend away with hubby! Enjoyed our time in Vegas and the hotel was very nice!

Pool was great but too crowded. Too expensive.

The pool is great for families but be careful when you book....it was far too crowded in July.

We had a great time on are Aniversary, casino was huge! Great restaurants and quick access to the shops. But we really loved the beach wave pool, and lazy river with quick access right out of elevator didn't have to walk through casino to the pools..will definitely Vista this resort again.

Nice pools!

Posted Aug 31, 2015
This hotel is located at the far end of the strip, however the pools are plentiful and gorgeous! The casino is nice and there are many shops located in the hotel which was convenient. Drinks are expensive but there is a liquor store conveniently located across which I highly recommend! There is also a McDonald's and subway across the street with reasonable prices. One of the down sides is the fact that there are no coffee makers in the rooms. In addition, there is no complimentary coffee located anywhere on the premises. I would recommend that coffee be freely available to the guests at no charge. After all, the more coffee one has, the more likely guests are to stay awake which could mean more revenue for the casino. You'd think this would be common sense.

Too noisy for young kids on friday

Posted Aug 31, 2015
This hotel is great actually, but they have a beach party on Friday and they put me on the 4th floor. The room was so loud my kid couldn't sleep till it was over. Which was 11:30

A very nice hotel at the end of the strip

Posted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: Bright and airy, friendly staff and the roof top bar is a view that must be seen
Cons: Not a lot really
Location: At the end of the strip, close to the Vegas sign and the Bali Hai golf club.
Really enjoyed the hotel, the staff where always smiling and cheerful. The whole area was clean and bright. The best place to have breakfast is Della's Kitchen. The worst place to eat in the hotel was Citizens, we tried it twice personally and the second occasion the food was cold, so sent back, service was slow and the Hen party tried it again and the staff were unfriendly and uncooperative, they could not even pull 2 tables together for the hen party of 7 so they when to Della's where they could not do enough for them. The beach area was good with the wave machine and the lazy river. Reception could have done with more staff on it at check in as the process seemed to be slow. We attended the Michael Jackson "One" show needed sun glasses and ear plugs in (or is that me being old)

Mandalay Bay Just Ok

Posted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: Clean
Cons: Prices
Location: End of strip so you need to take a taxi most places
Booked a King room on Expedia arrived and was told I could only get 2 double beds unless I wanted to pay an upcharge. Not happy with that. Hotel was very overpriced for anything you might need.
