Very convenient and easy

Posted Feb 7, 2016
It's fun for our family reunion as there's lots to do, gambling and not. Gym is very good. Food available at different price points depending on your mood. Food is "good" (Mexican restaurant is not as good). Easy access to freeway. Not overly crowded. It's not hip or fancy, but we all have fun each visit.

nice hotel friendly staff

Posted Feb 7, 2016
Pros: the hotel is very friendly with a helpful staff.
Cons: would like alittle more cheap access to the main stripe. cabs are spendy the shuttle goes once an hour
Location: being on the south strip the hotel is alittle far from the main strip. there is not much around it.
I had a good experience, the hotel is clean, modern, and friendly .

Nice hotel, beds could be much better!

Posted Feb 7, 2016
The room was clean and tidy. The beds were not comfortable at all. The hotel shuttle that will take you to the airport for free does NOT START until 6am. So beware when you have an early flight to catch.

Came for the spa

Posted Feb 4, 2016
Pros: Spa, rooms
Cons: More information on the website about hours and days that on-site facilities are open (or closed).
Location: Far enough from the Strip not to be too crowded, but close enough to get there easily.
I have stayed here many times before, usually to use the pool in the warmer months. This time it was winter and my friend and I came to use the spa facilities. This meant massages and using the indoor plunge pool and hot tub. It was so nice to do this in the winter time. The only snag was that we had planned to eat at the Mexican restaurant for dinner but it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and we didn't know that so we had to go into town. Now we know. Otherwise, the rooms and beds were comfortable as always, and our stay was very pleasant.

Nice hotel south of the Strip

Posted Feb 1, 2016
South Point has it all, from the usual slots & games to family friendly bowling, movies, bingo, and much more. There are many choices for dining, & even a coupon book with discounts for the complex. Unless you want to go sightseeing you don't need to leave the complex.

Pleasant place to be in Las Vegas.

Pros: I enjoyed the layout of the hotel, easy to get to your room. I liked the buffet, although next time I will try some of the other restaurants.
Cons: The casino floor was really smokey at time. I would prefer non-smoking.
Location: It's away from the strip so you have the option of being away from the hustle and bustle that goes on there. You can drive or take the shuttle.
This is a nice hotel and I enjoyed my stay. The rooms are very nice and easy to get too. So many of the hotels require you to walk for miles just to get to your room. I didn't have this issue at South Point. Also, we found the buffet to provide good food at a reasonable price. Be sure to get a Player's Card when arriving. I enjoyed having the movie theater on location and our grandchildren enjoyed the Bowling lanes. We enjoyed everything about our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a great place to stay without the hustle and bustle of the Strip.
