Pros: Unlike other hotels in LV this is very well planned. Though hotel is so big, pretty easily walk able to the exits and various amenity places.
Cons: Plumbing system is not that effective. Had to make multiple flushes before sludge washes out. Arena side elevator smelled with awkward Oder.
Staff is really great. Love complementary parking service and speed of delivery. Check-in/Check-out process was so quick.

Love South Point

Posted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: The location is a little kind,of far,but once you stay here, you donot have to leave for anything, they have it all, food gym, pool, free transportation.
Cons: The $14.00 a day resort fee after you still pay for the hotel.
Location: It's all good to me,and it depends of what kind of a person you are,and what you like doing.
The best hotel I ever stayed in was when I visited Canada in July of 2014,I stayed in a Sheraton by the Falls, and it was awesome, but for South Point not being an Embasy suite,or an MGM,it was pretty well worth, staff friendly, even up to the cleaning people, the ones I met are spanish speaking, and understood me when I asked them for anything, and they helped out without attitude, the women @ the front desk are helpful, experienced, courteous, patience and beautiful. If I go to Las Vegas again I will defitnitely stay there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

South point was very clean and quiet. The elevators were quick, which I find to be a problem at most hotels in vegas. Finding parking was very easy.

Nice hotel off of the main strip

Posted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: There are lots of machines to choose from for the slots-
This is our first stay at South Point & we liked the hotel. Check-in went smoothly. When we got to our room, all the bedding was on the floor! We called and someone came right away to check. They could not figure out why this happened but the beds were quickly made. The rest of the room had been cleaned already so we did not change rooms.

Excellent in all categories!

Pros: Everything
Location: Easy access to I-15.
Plenty of parking, quick check-in and head to my room with a great view of the pool below and the mountains in the distance. There are restaurants for every taste, with one being open 24/7. The staff do an excellent job of taking care of my room.

Pros: Nice size rooms.. Smell of smoke in the casino was not overwhelming. Amenities were better than most. Several, fast elevators.
Stay at South Point was more pleasant than expected. I would take my wife and family for a stay at South Point. Good, overall atmosphere.
