The strip has gone upmarket but the orleans hasnt. Our tenth year here. Great value for money. Will be going back. Great place to relax. Used by the vegas locals.

Good Hotel Away From The StripPosted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: It was comfortable and provided good facilities.
Cons: The smoke was pretty thick in the main hotel and gambling area.
Location: Little to do close by. The Strip is 30 minutes walk but a shuttle is provided.
I needed somewhere to stay for 2 nights before moving to the Strip. It was a last minute booking and prices were high. Considering my circumstances, it was a good choice. There is a lot to do within the hotel complex, including a good variety of eating options at good prices. The room was very comfortable and the service good. I'd recommend this hotel if you're happy to stay away from the strip.

Nice enough as a lower cost off strip optionPosted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: Price point, location, and the room was much nicer than others I've stayed at in Las Vegas at that price point.
Cons: Lack of hot water; amenities in the bathroom (soap / shampoo) were really limited.
Hotel was clean and comfortable in general. Check in was quick and courteous. "Resort fee" is relatively reasonable for Las Vegas. "Free" Wifi included with Resort fee was adequate (1MB), though they do have up charge options if you're going to use a device for streaming. Has a lot of relatively inexpensive food and drink options in a food court, along with more traditional restaurant alternatives in the building. Casino is a nice size and the staff were generally friendly. Room was also fine for the price - a little dark, but clean and comfortable. What held back the rating for me was the lack of hot water in the shower on a Sunday morning - this isn't something that can be fixed if you're on your way out of town, so it was just disappointing..

Hotel was nice but you could hear the other guests all night long. Not very sound proof

Nice hotelPosted Sep 29, 2015
Pros: Room, did not hear any neighbors. Free valet.
Cons: Food at the buffet and cafe
Location: Off the strip, which was ok. Close but not walkable.
Room spacious, comfortable and clean, staff friendly. In my opinion, the buffet needs some help with selection, flavor and cleanliness. Really enjoyed the free valet, great amenity.

Lousy first impression, very nice place.Posted Sep 26, 2015
Pros: Friends staff (other than valet)
Cons: Temp parking for check-in is too far from door, and valet parking staff should want to work there.
Location: Al for easy view and high floor, sunrise over the strip is awesome.
Once you get past the jerks with lousy attitudes at the front door, this is a very nice property with nice staff. if I hadn't prepaid, I would have left rather than deal with the valet staff. They only stopped ignoring us long enough to be rude, not the way to start a vacation. If you have mobility issues, or are over the age of 30, ask for a room near the elevator, we logged several miles just getting to our room at the end of the extremely long halfway. hint: room numbers a are lower at the far end of the hall.

Cheap and NicePosted Sep 26, 2015
The room was clean and the beds comfortable. When I walked in the room had a funny smell but I carry body spray so that did the trick. Overall a nice room and stay for a very low price.

Great valuePosted Sep 23, 2015
Pros: The staff. The value.
Cons: It could be more up to date, but then the cost would increase...
Location: You have to take their shuttle or a cab to the strip. It's not a nice walk.
It's a very good deal. The staff was always very helpful. I lost my wallet. They found it and returned it intact.

Great hotel/casino close to strip.Posted Sep 7, 2015
Pros: It was affordable, great staff, and close enough for me to the strip. It has a big gaming area as well. Rooms and hotel was neat and up to date.
Cons: Could have a 24 hour shuttle service and fridges in the rooms.
Location: Location was great for me, plenty to do at hotel and nearby.
This was my first time to Vegas and I am glad I picked this hotel. The staff was courteous, polite, and helpful!! They have a great gaming area and its close to the strip. They provided a shuttle service through the day. The room was clean and up to date. The people staying at this hotel didn't seem to be the "partying" crowd that I noticed at the hotels on the strip which was perfect for me. I would stay at this hotel again!
