Hotel staff need customer service training

The hotel itself I'd give 2.5 stars. The staff don't even deserve 1 star.
They are rude, entitled, and don't have the slightest idea what customer service means.
We bought and paid for a king suite. Showed up and there was no king suite available. We were given the option to take a lower class room with 2 queens, or we could, 'cancel our reservations and get refunded in 7 days'.
How is that ok? No discount offered, no apology that they oversold the hotel and seemingly didn't give AF about honoring their commitment to paying customers. The icing on the cake is that they were ride about it a well.
I wouldn't recommend staying at this place. aside from the star, the food options aren't great. Everything in the room we ended up staying in was sticky and smelled like cheap perfume and shame.
Take your money elsewhere.
