The hotel was under construction so it was noisy when I checked in other then that I enjoyed my stay

Dissappointed in needing to wait 90 minutes for a wine opener and had to go get it myself. Also, as we took the green room make up option - the first night the room was made up with same towels and sheets (what we expected), the next three nights there was no service and when we enquires we were told they don't make up the room for the green option. Lots of inconsistency in service. Maybe all staff are struggling given the construction on the main floor. I stayed here last year at the same time for NBA Summer League and had no service issues.

Nice, Clean and modern Hotel. Also Nice View from hotel room. Breakfast good but checked in for 3 people only got 2 free breakfast.

Close to the strip

Close to the strip. Yet, quiet and a pleasant place to stay. You don't have to walk through a busy casino to get to the lobby like many of the larger hotels. Value was great. We saved $25 by taking a room without a view of the strip. We had a view of the air conditioning unit, but we weren't in Vegas to look out the window for hours so we didn't mind. Very clean and comfortable bed. Nice shower. Had a safe in the room to keep money etc. Also had a fridge and coffee maker. Compared to the big hotels, the value far exceeds the extras that other hotels may offer. Also you had extra security in that you had to use your room key in the elevator to select your floor, no random people wandering to random floors and being obnoxious! Loved it! Will stay here again!

NOT WESTIN STANDARDS

Pros: Room Service staff really professional and impressive.
The lobby was under renovation, the pool is terrible and small, the concierge hung up on me when I asked for a restaurant recommendation and never called me back. Not up to Westin standards. Very disappointing.

Avoid if you can.

Day after we checked in. Hotel Started renovations in the Lobby. It was mess to walk in and and walk out of Hotel. We took 2 Double Bed rooms for a reason and yet Room Service would replenish only 2 set of towels. Chilled Water in Down Stairs Lobby does not gets filled very often, especially at Night. Common It is Vegas and hot if a guest is walking from heat and first thing they get is cold water it simply changes the perception, I am surprised how can hospitality miss that. Coffee Machine was not connected and to connect you have to move the heavy desk, really? Fridge Does not open. Staff at the Pool were rude.

Hotel was nice and staff was friendly. They were remodeling while we stayed there, and lobby was kinda small.

Needs maintenance

This hotel is decent, it has potential but needs to be taken care off. Our fridge didn't work, the water in the bathtub would not drain, the key cards didn't always work. Other than that it was an ok stay

24-hour pool a BIG plus!

Pros: We especially appreciated the 24/7 pool, the comfort of the room, and the helpfulness of the staff
Cons: Fixing the elevators so they're more even with the floor
Location: The Westin is near the Mirage and various other popular locations, so we didn't feel like we missed out on anything by being just off the Strip
A significant factor in our choosing to stay at this hotel was the fact that its pool is open 24/7. Most hotel pools in Vegas are closed by 7 PM at the latest, which seems pretty ridiculous considering it can be over 100 degrees at midnight! We did enjoy using the pool late at night, but we also enjoyed the rest of our stay at the Westin. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were all in good condition, and the bed and the rest of the room were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again! The only thing that bugged us a little was that the elevators seemed a little off - they generally didn't stop quite even with the floor. The unevenness was small, but I can imagine that it might cause problems, say, for someone in a wheelchair or someone with a heavy rolling suitcase.
