Very convenient location.

This is a very nice hotel. My only complaint is that the older section called the bungalow rooms have individual heating in each room but only central air conditioning for the who section. We were not told about this when we checked in. Our room got a little stuffy at night because they hadn't turned the AC on for the season yet. Had to open the sliding door.

Pros: Rooms were nice and clean and the lounge was a nice place to drink and listen to live music
The only thing I will complain about is the fact that my room was not ready even though I checked in after 3pm. Also when I finally got to the room, my keys wouldn't work and they wanted me to walk all the way back to the front desk which was a very long walk! But luckily housekeeping contacted security and he helped me which was appreciated.

Hotel close to the strip

Nice hotel... Really nice bar and casino downstairs with a nice Italian restaurant and spa Not to mention close to the strip Would recommend

Overbooked

Initially, I booked a double nonsmoking room. When we arrived to the hotel no double nonsmoking rooms were available. I do not understand how this can happen! We ended up sleeping in a double smoking room, the smell of smoke on the entire floor of the hotel was horrible! The Tropicana definately did not leave a good impression on us.

Pleasantly Surprised how nice the hotel was!

Pros: The rooms and comfort and cleanliness. Pleasantly modern Chic
Cons: The outside facade of the hotel is looking shabby. The paint on the side of the building is peeling and especially the name "Tropicana"
Location: Great location, right in the midst of everything, close to everything
Always thought this was an older hotel, that was possibly not that chic and we were pleasantly surprised just how nice and chic it actually was and how beautiful and nice the rooms were. Would definitely consider staying again!

Nice hotel

Pros: Nice and clean rooms
Cons: Pool .
Nice hotel but not happy that there was no inside pool. Unfortunately the outside pool was closed for the season and if I would have looked harder at the website I would not have stayed there. After all the walking up and down the strip a nice soak in pool or hot tub would have been nice.

Thank you for your response. Most pools on The Strip are closed between October and early March but we apologize that you had one expectation and there was a different result. Hotel close and convenient to everywhere

Had a marvelous stay. Staff very attentive. Rose welcomed us warmly and was respectful n a real personable individual who loves her job.

I won't stay here again...

It smelled like cigarettes everywhere. The restaurants were mediocre. The service was mediocre. It's not terrible, but you get better elsewhere on the strip for the same price. I won't stay here again.

We had ants in our room and when we told the clerk she never offered any compensation, said they would close it. The water was cold for the shower one night There was no fan so the rooms were warm. Only the heat was working

Casino area looked fresh

Paid a $29 resort fee and the pool and hot tub were closed. Cigarette butts on the balcony. Bellmen and parking lot attendants were great.
