Good hotel if you don't want smoke or casino

On the plus side there's no casino or smoking, so we enjoyed being able have a drink in the lobby bar w/out all the noise & smoke. The bartender at the lobby bar Vice Versa named Hugo was super fun and entertaining! Make sure you stop by and get a drink from him. We paid for the $5 room upgrade (wasn't sure what to expect but thought we'd pay for a little more), come to find out, it was the most awkward room with a half wall separating the couch from the bed area, and the wall had a TV on each side, the wall just made it hard to move around the room (our friends who did not do the upgrade had the same room w/out the wall so basically a nice big spacious room, so I would recommend that. There was a "kitchen area" that had nothing it in, so it was basically useless, we heard if we needed anything we could call and ask but we did not. I would have at least expected a mini coffee machine w/out having to ask. But there's a Starbucks in the lobby, which never had a line. The taxi line never had a line which was nice, sometimes at Aria they have longer lines. On our first couple days we had access to the Aria pool, which we intended to use, then one day we tried to use it and they said we had to use the Vdara pool, we were confused. The pool at Vdara was stagnant and boring and small and had uncomfortable seats and no poolside service, so that alone will make us never stay there again. Would be good for a smoke conscious family.
