We upgraded to a post pandemic renovated room, but it was still outdated and very basic. There were very basic amenities - coffee machine, hair dryer, safe, tv, soap, shampoo, lotion, etc.
We only spoke to someone during check in, he gave us vouchers for the skywalk. We realized this was probably bc our view from our room was of a wall. Ask for a 8th floor and higher room if you want a view. He also gave us a bunch of misinformation but none of it that ruined our stay, so small annoyance.
Prior to booking, there was a lot of concern about location. It’s inbtwn the strip and Fremont. The Duece bus stops right by the hotel. During the day it was fine, even in the earlier evenings it was fine. Do I recommend walking about at midnight? No, but I don’t recommend that in any new city.
My big annoyance is that the hotel is very noisy and there is no insulation to cancel out the noise. Kids running the hallways, neighbors fighting. I got an earful two nights of drama that kept me awake from 2am. I could still hear them fighting when I left in the morning.
