Pros: clean and convenient.
Cons: the casino is a bit small and not much of options.
Location: walking distance to a lot of main hotels in the strip.
overall experience was pretty good for the price. I would recommend it if anyone looking for deals to Vegas.

HORRIBLE VACATION THANKS TO EXPED**

Pros: NOTHING
MY FAMILY AND I WERE TRAVELING TO Las Vegas ROUNDTRIP. WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE TROP**ANA AT 10:30 AT NIGHT WITH 2 YOUNG CHILDREN, THE HOTEL INFORMED US THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY ROOM WAITING FOR US. NO RESERVATION OR CONFIRMATION THAT WE WOULD BE STAYING THERE. IN FACT TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE THEY WERE SOLD OUT OF ROOMS. SO NO WHERE TO STAY WITH 2 LITTLE ONES AT 10:30 P.M. TRAVELING MOST OF THE DAY - ONE HOUR TO GET TO AIRPORT , FOUR HOUR FLIGHT , TRANSFERS TO HOTEL THAT WE HAD NO ROOM AT. ISN'T THIS SO GRAND!!!!!!!! PAID FOR HOTEL AND FLIGHT AS A BUNDLE DEAL AND THEY SURE AS HECK TOOK MY MONEY OUT OF THE ACCOUNT BEFORE WE EVEN LEFT FOR Las Vegas. THIS WAS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME BOOKING WITH EXPED**-.NEVER AGAIN. THEY DID NOT WANT TO BOOK US AT ANOTHER HOTEL BECAUSE IT WAS GOING TO COST MORE MONEY. THEY TOLD ME IF I WANTED TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE ,THEY WOULD BOOK THE ROOM FOR ME. I SAID YOU GUYS ARE THE ONES THAT MESSED THE RESERVATION IN THE FIRST PLACE AND I AM NOT PAYING ANY MORE MONEY FOR YOUR MISTAKES. THEY BOOKED US AT A HOLE IN THE WALL HOTEL - DIRTY, SMELLY "H**TERS" GREAT PLACE FOR 2 LITTLE KIDS-NOT". NOTHING BUT DIRTY OLD MEN EYEBALLING THE STAFF WITH THEIR HALF NAKED ATTIRE. I CALLED EXPED** AND TOLD THEM MY FAMILY AND I ARE NOT STAYING HERE. I EXPLAINED TO THE REPRESENTATIVE THAT MY FAMILY WAS EXHAUSTED FROM TRAVELING AND THEY NEEDED A LITTLE REST. I WAS NOT GOING TO SPEND 5 NIGHTS AT THIS HOTEL. I WOULD SLEEP HERE TONIGHT WHICH WAS ABOUT 2:00 A.M.

Dirt filthy room

I had to call the staff and asked them to come clean my room because when I pulled my sheets back I learned my sheets had never been changes.....my bathroom stinked....soap all over the floor....and they refused to give me a clean room....so I was stuck there.....i will never go back there again

Tropicana Las Vegas - good choice

Pros: Location, free car parking, leisure facilities, overall size of the Hotel - not too big.
Cons: Checking in took a while due to size of queue and would have liked a fridge in the room.
Location: Good location at the South end of the strip. Easy enough to walk to the middle of the Strip. For further on probably need to take the Strip coach.
Recently spent 4 nights at the Tropicana visiting Vegas. Hotel is at South end of the strip within walking distance of the middle of the Strip. Was very hot but still able to sit out at the Tropicana pool. Plenty of sun chairs and space and a nice hot tub. Hotel not too large so easy enough to get about. Went to the show (David Goldrake) and this was entertaining and not too expensive. Free car parking a bonus. Rooms were clean and large.

Nice location on the strip.

We got a great price at this nice hotel. The center courtyard is lovely, but i was dusappointed by the limited pool hours. It was only open from 10am until 7pm. It would have been nice to be able to go for a swim after a busy day.

Great room with view of the Strip!

Pros: Room had a great view of the Strip
Cons: Wet bar needs a sink, we had to use the one in the bathroom.
Location: Easy to navigate through casinos and just a short walk to other large hotel/casinos.
Celebrated 30th Anniversary with friends and family.

Easy to navigate, fun hotel

Good sized hotel, was easy to navigate compared to MGM which was crazy big. Great casino too! Loved their souvenir store as I found my GOLDEN PLAYING CARDS for cheap! Food was okay at the cafe. Room was very instagrammable! Loved it so much! Great time with my family so it deserves a good rating!

A few surprises.

Pros: Quality furniture in rooms. Plenty of restrooms in casino & lobbies.
Cons: Lower prices in all hotel restaurants. People should be encouraged to stay in the building to eat.
Location: At a good location for seeing shows & attractions within walking distance.
We had thought that our payment for the Tropicana in Las Vegas was in full when we booked through Expedia. At check-in, however, we were advised that there was a "resort fee" and taxes each day. This added over a hundred dollars for a 3-day stay. That's a deal-breaker for future visits. Also, the rooms have no coffee makers. If you want morning coffee, you either get dressed to spend 20 minutes in a coffee line downstairs, or call the hotel's Starbucks for a delivery to your room, which is time-consuming, expensive and intrusive. You would think a big, expensive hotel like this would use their "resort fee" to get coffee pots in the rooms. Another deal-breaker. On a good note, the rooms do not have small refrigerators either, but we were provided with one at no charge when we informed the staff that we had a medical need for one. Really.

Unfortunately all Las Vegas resorts do have resort fees. We here at the Tropicana have the most competitive resort fees. We hope you visit us again and thank you for staying at the Tropicana.

Took me an hour to get checked in. Only 2 counters were open when it was obvious that during that time there would be alot checking in. most of the staff where very friendly especially the doormen and housekeeping. called the front desk 4 times for shampoo no one came, we had to get it from one of the housekeepers doing their rounds.

Short Vacation

I wish there was a variety food court. I had a hamburger there that cost over $11. It would have been nice if I could have got some french fries with that price. But other than that everything was great. Hope to b back soon.
