I and my daughter have been to this hotel 3 times. This time the rooms had been upgraded and it was even better. The view from the Zen room was fabulous and the general vibe is understated, sophisticated and relaxing. Its not a fun party place - although the staff are fun and always friendly. Its a beautiful place - fabulous natural surroundings and I will return next year. The only issue was with guests in family groups blocking sunbeds which mean that even if you get up early all the beds have towells on and nobody shows up until after breakfast finishes at 1030. There are notices out to say dont do this but there is not any real consequence for those that do. still this was not on every day and didnt really spoil our trip.

This is such an amazing hotel. It’s modern, clean, the breakfast is excellent, the staff are so helpful and friendly. It’s an easy walk into the town if you are able, otherwise it’s a very quick taxi ride. I have stayed at other five star hotels in Greece and this one definitely earned its five stars. We stayed in a sunrise room and it had all the mod cons that you would need. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was excellent. I really liked the fact that it had air conditioning and a fan in the ceiling in the bedroom so you could regulate the temperature to your liking. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is excellent we stayed in the upper deck infinity rooms which were quiet and comfortable. An issue with the air conditioning was quickly sorted out. The staff are friendly and helpful food is excellent. The beach area and taverna are pleasant with stunning views. I will definitely return to this hotel.

An honest review
This hotel is not worth the money, nor it’s star rating for many reasons 1. The suite we had was on a lower level -like a basement. As a result the room was muggy, smelly and damp. 2. Pillows were terrible. We had requested soft pillows in advance which we never received. It is impossible to sleep with the pillows in the room. They are hard and thick, 3. There is no turn down service 4. As a result of the lack of turn down service we left used towels outside the room. These were never taken away 5. Lack of basic bathroom my toiletries like shower cap and cotton buds 6. There is an internal vent in the bathroom through which we could here every single word that was spoken in the neighbouring room. I imagine we could be heard too 7. Terrible bed mattress. 8. The Sunbeds are awful -they are old and sagging. 9. Overall the hotel is very run down with aged and dirty communal areas I regret the money I paid for this hotel. It’s worth half the price.

Overall the hotel was very good .Staff friendly and food good. My first disappointment was the gym. The Running machine and exercise bike were old and worn out and they were rusty. They both need replacing immediately as I actually didn't think they were safe to use. I also wasn't happy that you had to pay for bottled water in the rooms. Every 5 star hotel I have stayed in before supply bottle drinking water in the room and replenish every day. They were charging €1.80 for a 500ml bottle of cheap branded of water. Apart from that our overall stay was very good.

Amazing property in front of the sea (take "Ocean view" for an open view on the sea, while "Sea view" is for the view on the port side (partial sea view, then). I enjoyed the shared pool with my room for more privacy and loved the access to a beautiful private beach (it's a pity that some customers always reserved for the whole day their sunbed, though). The breakfast buffet is amazing with an extraordinary choice of local food. Definitely a lovely stay, perfect to relax.

Overall the stay was good but overpriced. The service was great except for the reception (didn’t seem like they cared very much). The rooms were, at best, 3-star level however charged at 5-star prices. The best part about the property were the pool and the private beach.

Minos palace is a very nice resort. The staff was nice and the facilities look good. Overall a great experience for a solo traveler but I wish they had more activities for everyone together so I could connect with some new people. I had a 30 minutes massage and it was really nice and relaxing. They even let me use the jacuzzi Althing wasn’t part of the deal. Due to coronavirus the spa was closed so I couldn’t experience it but the rest of the facilities were open. The only down thing I would say is that the dinner staff were so pushy about selling a drink to me and at my first time there they kinda pushed me to get still water. Obviously I could say no after all but it felt really bad to cancel on them and they know how to sell. This water bottle cost €3.30 (!!) not a reasonable price for water. I was really upset and didn’t purchase anything else in dinners after it. I felt used. If you sell drinks to the guests of the hotel that comes for their included dinner I would expect at least to have a menu with prices and details. Also there should be free tap water in the buffet which I didn’t see. So the next dinner I had to go back to my room to drink. That was annoying. Expect for this issue, everything was great! I might go back in the future.

When we arrived, we got an non-renovated room which was not worth the money. After a good chat with the general manager, we got another room which was very nice and worth the price. The hotel is in a renovation phase of all old rooms.

Woww! Overall the whole experience was amazing, this hotel deserves much more than it ranked! The facility was beautiful, the views are breathtaking, the location is very good. The architecture and design is a whole new experience in itself. It's very very clean and comfortable, the bed was dreamy. A few small things you should be aware of: If you are expecting a "5-star" service, this may not be the place. It didn't really bother us, but something to be aware of. Staff is not as welcoming (mostly in the reception), but definitely did their job. Staff didn't go the extra mile as expected in these levels and costs. Additionally, in case you are taking breakfast and dinner, expect to have more or less the same food every day. Other than that we really really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

Incredibly beautiful resort serounded by the ocean. Lots of secluded areas with lounge chairs to relax by the water. The staff is beyond amazing - always smiling and laughing with the guests. My husband and I stayed there for our honeymoon, and we couldn't have found a better place to relax after the stress of the wedding. The staff even surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco and an arrangement of fresh fruit when we arrived in our room. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know.

Overall it was fine but for a five star hotel many things were poor for example no water to drink was provided in the room.I reported that the telephone did not work no one came to sort it.The kettle did not work and it was reported and eventually fixed .Water took a long time to drain from wash basin. The. TV had many German channels and only one English.Not at all what the case should be when selling a 5star image.Five

the location and layout of the property was amazing. Created a great environment to relax and unwind with plenty of choice to do so. The staff we amazing and very helpful, polite and friendly.

Incredible grounds! We especially loved the beach. Love how there’s an abundance of loungers in all sorts of places most of which are free/ no added sneaky cost. The room was beautiful and the grounds were maintained so well it was mind blowing. Such delicious food worth the money! Was expensive but a good experience which I would happily do again. Our only negative aspect of our stay was the service. It was disappointing in the sense that we weren’t treated with much respect and were treated as though we didnt belong by the hotel staff especially reception and one of the waitresses at the bar. We are both quite young (I’m 20) and we thought that may have been the reason we were treated in the manner we were by some of the staff but it’s not appropriate and it’s especially disappointing when you’ve paid so much. Would stay there again would just expect, and demand better

Amazing site, stunning views, wonderful location. Very clean, staff very professional and helpful. On those points this place is really a palace. Very silent too. Unfortunately the food is far from being at the same level. Enjoy a wonderful stay in this palace and eat at any Greek caverne outside in town or in the island, even breakfast (more authentic, tastier and cheaper).

It is an amazing place! Everyone was so friendly and the views are fantastic! The staff are immensely attentive and reception were insightful and caring. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a getaway. Just needs bigger bathrooms.

We loved the location, the rooms, the relaxing setting, pool, view and the beach bar! Breakfast was great, we just wanted Champaign more often (was only 1 out of 3) ..... but this for us was a minor issue. We also thought the check out, allowing us to use the spa facilities was excellent!

The location is excellent, with great views of the Mediterranean. The staff is super friendly, and very willing to help. I arranged the trip as a birthday present for my wife, and the Chef and Restaurant Manager were so kind to arrange a home-made vegan birthday cake for her. The on-site spa is small but very nice, and the massages were great.

Expensive and not really a 5 star
Stayed the Sensimar Minos Palace in August, had a lovely time, however I do not think it is a 5 star hotel and found it very expensive. Food was very average, definitely not 5 star.
