Amazing Staff and Location

We loved our stay and the staff was beyond helpful! Wonderful place to stay, only a 5-10 minute walk to Notre Dame.

An excellent hotel and hood value

Helpful staff, comfortable room. An excellent location, close to everything but not too close and away from severe traffic. Somewhat larger than most comparable rooms in Paris. A pleasant lobby. I will use this hotel again.

Brilliant location

Pros: Location and the building itself was lovely.
Location: Near Notre Dame, Saint Germaine, Pantheon etc
Brilliant location, beautiful small foyer, friendly staff, spotless rooms, Parisienne building.

Great Staff!

Pros: The staff.
Location: Near everything or just a short bus ride away. Close to Notre Dame, the Sorbonne, Jardin du Luxembourg, Rue de la Huchette, Cluny Museum and more!
This was my and my sister's second trip to Paris this year (we went in May then back in November to celebrate my birthday). We stayed in the Latin Quarter last time so wanted to be close again. This was a great hotel, right near everything that we wanted to be close to. We could see Notre Dame from our room. Mahmoon (sp?) was great in helping us with getting the right bus for the places we wanted to go and whenever we came back to the hotel they greeted us like they had known us for a long time. The room a bit bigger than the other hotel we stayed in. But this is Europe, not America so don't expect big rooms.

Nice area and decent hotel

We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel because we had Paris to explore! It was a nice place to come back and sleep though. It is a short walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre. It's also an easy walk to a metro station. Our room was on the first floor right by the street and we were a little nervous about noise but it wasn't bad at all. We really didn't notice any extra noise at night. Our room was fairly roomy for a place in Paris but I'm fairly certain it was a special needs room as well so that may have been why. I really enjoyed the St Germaine area of Paris. It was nice and there were a lot of nice little cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The front desk was usually helpful as well.

Terrible room.

Pros: Location
Cons: Giving guestsa double room which after all is what we paid for.
Location: A wide choice of good restaurants and close to the tourist attractions
Clearly we were given a single room with a double bed. Room number 25. This was clear to me when there were only 3 pillows, 2 in the double bed and 1 in the small wardrobe. No room for both of us to pass each other. A very tiny bathroom. For the first night I was given 3 bath towels to support my single pillow, although I was given a pillow the next day when I saw the room cleaner. No space to store cases. When I queried the room size I was told no other rooms were available. All the other rooms on our floor were considerably larger. No safety deposit box in the room.When I queried the safety deposit box I was asked to use one of the 2 in the lobby but none could be opened. I chose the hotel because of the location which did not disappoint. Certainly not inexpensive .A very poor experience. Will not be using Expedia again

Downgraded from the quadruple room we paid for

We paid extra to have the larger quadruple room for 4 people. We were then given one of the small twin rooms with an uncomfortable fold out bed. This was a disappointment and i raised the concern and nothing was done. Hardly any walking area for 3 people. This is why we had paid extra. They need to change the option of the room options if they aren't like the picture. Otherwise a nice hotel and friendly staff. Good neighbourhood also.

Gloomy room at a price

Hard to understand how this hotel can charge so much for a gloomy and small single room with little comfort except a proper bed. Among the inconveniences included a shabby carpet throughout, an alarm call that was booked and never happened , a noisy corridor with disruptive guests at night, a wafer thin plastic cup for holding hot coffee
