One of the best hotel I stayed, in Paris. The staff was nice. English was spoken. Was close to buses and metros.

Lovely hotel in a great location

Posted Nov 4, 2017
Pros: Just about everything. The only thing I would recommend is asking for a courtyard view room.
Cons: One petty thing - there were no facilities to heat hot water in the rooms. I enjoy a nice cup of tea in the evening and wished I could brew one.
Location: As is usual in Paris, there are cafes, restaurants and small food markets conviently located. I particularly lliked Cafe Livre, a booklined cafe/bar
I loved staying here. The rooms aren't large, but this is a European hotel so that's pretty standard. Very comfortable bed, lots of closet space and a nice big desk. The bathroom is a decent size and the shower is fantastic. Just what you need after a day of walking. The staff are unfailingly polite and friendly. The breakfast choices are many and varied. I have two issues. One is that there were no facilities to heat hot water in the rooms. I really enjoy a nice hot cup of tea in the evening and couldn't get one. That's a minor inconvience in the grand scheme of things, but somewhat humorous given the whole tenor of the British ambience. The other one is that I was under the misapprension that the 15 E breakfast was going to be discounted to 9 E. Perhaps that was if I had ordered them for the week as part of my reservation. Either way, the fault is mine and I am mentioning this only as information for future guests.

A step away from the heart of the city

Posted Sep 2, 2017
Though this hotel is a step away from the heart of the city it is easy enough to get to famous landmarks like the Louvre and Eiffel Tower. Plenty of things to see around the hotel like the Pantheon and the Luxembourg gardens. This hotel offers a free smart phone to help you get round. You can make local calls to book restaurants etc or use as a gps to find your way round. There are preloaded aps with plenty of info about what to see and do. The hotel staff were helpful in directing us to public transport - consider using both buses and trains - 1, 2 and 3 day travel passes are available from ticket counters at train stations. For an affordable meal close to the hotel try L'Authre Bistro, with kind, helpful service.

Great hotel in a great location

This is a great location for anyone who wants to be close to everything but away from the tourists. Close to the Seine for evening picnics overlooking Notre Dame.

Hotel accogliente , caldo , silenzioso

Posted Dec 7, 2017
Pros: Posizione. Struttura. Colori. Luci. Pulizia.
Cons: Servizio in camera quasi inesistente.
