Grand Hotel Saint Michel is close to Luxembourg/Saint Germain area, within walking distance to Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon and Saint Germain/Latin Quarters. It is close to the subway, countless number of great restaurants and grocery stores. There's even an M&S Food nearby. The people here are friendly and courteous; the electricians are quick to respond, and act with skilled professionalism. Wifi signal is strong and reasonably fast throughout the building.

Close to Notre Dame, the RER B station (St Michel seems the closest - short walk). Really nice little hotel with very friendly staff. Lots of great places to eat, or to just sit and work, around the location.

Overall, a pleasant experience in a great location. Good value as well. As with most European hotels (it seems), there were few irritants and oddities (e.g. no toilet paper holder, phones did not have instructions on how to call the front desk, tiny elevator, lights shut off automatically in public hallways, you have to leave your room key at the front desk).

This hotel is near the Latin quarter and is very well appointed. I thought the room was very comfortable with very modern facilities. Bathroom was really nice.
