Clean and comfortable. Large room, nice balcony and sea view. Bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet, but we stayed in off season. Nice buffet breakfast. Price for stay was very reasonable.

Back in a heartbeat
We loved this place. Everyone was so warm and helpful. The pool and terrace are amazing and huge, especially for being on the water. The hotel is basic but clean, quiet and great for families. I stayed there with my mother (80) and daughter (13) and they were both happy with the hotel- that never happens. I’d go back there is a heartbeat

Beach side vacation.
Very nice older hotel that can use some updating. Very nice large pool with plenty of chairs. Beach is different. Walked off fort like narrow beach with a few beach chairs in the sand. Breakfast OK typical Italian breakfast buffet with fruit and salami and cheese. Not hot eggs or made to order omlets. A bit overpriced for the area and air conditioning in rooms could not get temp below 25c or 78 F but compared to 32c or 90 F outside it was bearable but we like to sleep in 70F so a bit uncomfortable at night. Best thing was location. 5 minute walk to Port with lots of resteraunts and ferry to Ponza. Strongly recommend day trip to Ponza and then boat tour of island when you arrive.

We are sorry you haven't been informed that eggswere availableon request. We believed that theirpresence on the in-room menu would be sufficient, but we were wrong. We confirm that the air conditioning does not allow the temperature to go under 5/6 degreeds compared to the open air temperature. We are glad you enjoyed the area. Thank you for your opinion.

Great Spot!
We enjoyed staying at Hotel Maga Circe.Our room was large and comfortable. The bath was also very large for an Italian hotel bathroom. The shower had good water pressure. The view from the terrace was amazing. The breakfast was good--the usual Italian breakfast buffet. We did not dine in the hotel. Service was good. The hotel is in fair condition. The pool area looked great although we did not go out there. Still a little chilly for us. The main parts of town (the old upper town and newer lower town) are not within walking distance. There are several other restaurants within walking distance. Wifi was not great.

Highly expected area because of the nature. Unfortunately everything was still in winter sleep.Hotel location ok at the seaside with view. Otherwise a bit worn out and with limited service especially in English. This may be because the off season. A lot of repair work at the area was going on. Good seafood in the restaurants open (most closed)

Loved the location
This hotel was quite lovely, but could have been extraordinary with a menu that catered to tourists with a few mainstream items. The hotel also seemed to need a little TLC. There were areas which needed painting and the furnishings could have been updated. But all in all, we loved the grounds, the close proximity to the water and the service was excellent.

We are sorry you didn't enjoy your staying. Pictures fairly represent the small sandy access to the sea as well as the rooms dimentions. Wifi is limitied at 1 giga per day per device due to the fact that our are still is not served by cable and high speed internet. We hope to be able to offer a better service as soon as the cable will reach our area.

Hotel needs renovation
I do NOT recommend booking family-room which are facing to the back, very small and air condition is not managing to properly cool down the rooms in particular on first floor (ground floor room felt a little better). Beds don't have a slatted frame but slid plywood with a rather simple mattress. They were way too hard for me. We moved to a ocean-facing 'Deluxe' room after the first night and the room was at least much larger, with small balcony. This made it more acceptable. Pool was nice at least; filled with saltwater though you might need to get used to (however good for people who don't like chlorine). Breakfast was acceptable but not really good. Restaurant for lunch and dinner was pretty good. Staff was very friendly.

Very relaxing stay
Like many italian family hotels, Maga Circe hints at past splendour, built in the 1960s last major investment in the 1980s, it a wacky mix of styles. The room was a sea view (don't skimp & go courtyard) with a balcony only yards from the sea. A large single door letting the outside in. The sea is loud and after the first night getting used it, thereafter restful & lulls you to sleep in seconds. The room was spotless and promptly serviced each day to a high standard. Yes, some of the fittings were worn but it added to the past splendour charm. Pool area (towels provided) is fantastic with an abundance of sunbeds, so no need to go out at 6am to reserve one. The pool is large, kept immaculately clean, is saltwater and is cool to chilly. Key to cooling down after a session on the sunbed. The food at the hotel was very good and at first I thought was pricey but all the food along this stretch of the coast is of a similar price. Plenty of restaurants close by if you wish to eat outside. If you like seafood then this is the town for you. Staff great, good value for money, we had a very relaxing week - go on book and be charmed.

Thank you for your review, we do our best to keep up with passing time and in a way we don't want to lose our "vintage" style. Surely we will improve wifi with some works during the winter and we will work hard to keep everything ready for the upcoming season. We also want to thank you for noticing that our restaurant is not pricey compared with the other restaurants of the area. Coming from a guest, this info is trustworthy. A Nice stay
We spend two nights on top floor with view ower the ocean. Good sleep in good beds. We came back after four days. This time no top floor room availible so therefore another room with not so good beds. Butbthe place is so nice!

A real getaway!
A real gem - lovely rooms (with balconies), great views and a fantastic pool in a great location. The hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere, with very pleasant and efficient service. The room was spotless, due to the efforts of the very pleasant housekeeping staff. It's located beside a marina and a small mall which has a number of really great fish restaurants, which we frequented every night, although the hotel also had a good dinner menu. The pool is a great size, it's sea water and the terrace and garden is well serviced with sun-beds, parasols a small bar / coffee shop / ice-creams. It also benefits from lifeguard facilities (two at some times). We enjoyed very leisurely breakfasts and lunches on the terrace, with very prompt and attentive service from the staff, including Francesco, who recognising our poor Italian came to the rescue on more than one occasion to make sure our order was correct. The old town of San Felice in Circeo is a few miles away (up the mountain ... and worth the trip), whilst the new town is also a short drive away (5/10 minutes). We will definitely be back!

Nice small quiet hotel
First time in Italy, got moved after 2 nights to a room with sea view. Rooms made up every day, staff friendly. Air conditioning was ok, did the job. Nice swimming pool and sunbathing area.

I have stayed here many times, it is very relaxing and all the staff is very nice. I always tell people it is a very nice place to vacation / San Felecie Circio has nice little restaurants and the little shops are nice. This area is a very good find local beaches have sand not rocks like some in the Amafli coast/ ie Positano,Amafli. This Hotel has an amazing salt water pool looking out over the Med!

This is a great hotel
It is not often, if ever that you come across a really great hotel that is Family owned and Managed. This is one of those. Maga Circe is beautifully and tastefully furnished in a magic setting with all the amenities. Staff are professional, friendly and helpful. Easy access to surrounding area and 5 minutes walk to the ferry to Ponsa Island. Book a Superior Room with balcony if possible, they really are special and well worth the extra. The food is also very good.

Perfect hotel, perfect location
This hotel is located directly on the water with a gorgeous view. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. The hotel is near everything and has a huge salt water pool 50 feet from the ocean. Top rating!

La direttrice e il personale di ricevimento sono disponibili e competenti. Affrontano gli imprevisti con padronanza e trovano la soluzione. La struttura molto ben progettata rende perfettamente fruibili le verande, il giardino, il ristorante, le calette e infine la piscina. E' uno sguardo a 360° sul mare e sulla natura.

Si é presentato con una bambina piccola non segnalata in fase di prenotazione, obbligandoci ad assegnarle una camera di tipologia superiore, cosa che abbiamo fatto senza addebitarle supplementi visto che comunque si trattava di una sola notte, se n'è andato dicendo che la camera era spettacolare e ci ha messo DUE? Senza parole.

Nell'insieme bell'albergo con piscina e bar a bordo vasca, anche se, a mio parere, quattro stelle sono un po' troppe: 1) Nella camera non c'è una presa di corrente vicino alla scrivania/scrittoio, per cui non è possibile ricaricare il computer mentre lo si utilizza, inoltre manca anche un punto luce, per cui di sera la scrivania/scrittoio diventa praticamente inutilizzabile. 2) Mancano delle luci di lettura alla spalliera del letto, che consentano di poter leggere senza dare fastidio al partner come avviene con le applique. 3) Nel buffet della colazione mancano alimenti freschi e tipicità locali (miele, marmellate, yogurt non confezionati, affettati e formaggi artigianali). 4) Mancano i prezzi delle bevande presenti nel minibar ed inoltre non vengono forniti gli scontrini delle consumazioni extra per una verifica degli addebiti. ULTIMA NOTA PER EXPEDIA: La tassa di soggiorno attualmente è di € 2,00 per persona a notte!

come avrà probabilmente intuito, il nostro hotel non è pensato per chi lavora in vacanza, anche se abbiamo fatto alcuni aggiustamenti inserendo, per esempio, la possibilità di caricare il telefono senza necessità di adattatori nelle camere che sono state ristrutturate nel 2021. Terremo comunque in considerazione le sue osservazioni quando metteremo mano alle altre stanze.
