Renovating !! Beware!

So they are renovating...my husband has breathing problems. We asked for a room with a jacuzzi. We were given a 3rd floor room but with the smell,of plaster dust in the halls as soon as we got out of the elevator he started to wheeze. So we went down. The desk clerk was very nice and gave us a first floor room without a jacuzzi and they refunded us the price difference. The next day there was no maid service. When we asked a very nice woman said someone called in sick so she had many additional rooms to clean. We said just give us clean towels and she did and emptied our trash. The next day we were gone all day but housekeeping came just as we returned to shower Berger dinner. So again we just got towels. I think we should have been told they were renovating and understaffed . The toilet seat was coming off as well.The pool and jacuzzi were not available .also it was advertised as a short walk to the Rogers Center at St. Vincent College ( it was not ! ) and it advertised to walk to the restaurant next door the stair were blocked off and to walk by the very busy highway was very dangerous !

OUT OF THE STORM

Pros: BREAKFAST. CLEANLINESS OF THE WHOLE PLACE.
Cons: NOTHING
Location: GREAT 1 MILE FROM THE AIRPORT. HAVE A SHUTTLE BUT WITH IT BEING A MILE AWAY AND FREE AIR PORT PARKING NOT NEEDED FOR US.
STAID NEXT TO AIR PORT TO FLY OUT IN A.M. LITTLE BIT OF A MIX UP ON CHECK IN DUE TO EXP . TYPE OF ROOM WAS NOT ASSIGN TO US WHEN WE GOT THERE. AFTER GETTING TO THE ROOM WE NOTICED NO HOT TUB. CALLED FRONT DESK THEY MOVED US TO THE RIGHT ROOM BREAKFAST WAS HOT AND GREAT ASSORTMENT. IF WE USE THE LATROBE AIR PORT AGAIN WE WILL STAY THERE WITH OUT EVEN THINKING ABOUT IT.

Nice hotel close to the airport.

Cons: An earlier breakfast would have been nice. It wasn't to be put out until 6am & that was when we had to be at the airport.
Location: Located about five minutes from the Latrobe Airport, very convenient.
Clean, very comfortable bed. One of the best nights of sleep I've had at a hotel in a long time.

We were given the wrong time for breakfast so missed it but otherwise the hotel was really good
