“After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. ”

Only thing I would ask for is mineral water in the room because both taps in the bathroom were running warm water so we couldn't pour a glass from there.”

“We had a lovely stay at Tor Na Coille Hotel & Restaurant. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious, and the staff were welcoming. We dined in the restaurant and I had the steak burger with a side of pepper sauce — it was really tasty, and the chef was great at explaining how they could adapt other dishes for gluten-free too. The gluten-free options on the menu were excellent and made the meal stress-free. Our evening meal was delicious, and the breakfast the next morning was equally great,……
