Convenient location, but abysmal service

Quite disappointing really, and inconsistent first and foremost. We were first put in a suite as reserved, only to realize that the room was in a remote building, with access to the main hotel through the underground garage. The room was also very poorly laid out and with a direct view to another building less than 10 metres away. We elected to downgrade to a regular room rather than stay in this suite. Quite surprising that the hotel could not provide an alternate suite given that the entire facility appeared to be less than 10% full. The low attendance was such that service was abysmal, with plates and glasses from room service accumulating for hours in the corridor, to the disdain of the maids until I highlighted the issue at reception, breakfast service got worse and worse every day due to the low attendance, and the main fireplace in the lobby was only lit very occasionally due once again I assume to poor attendance. Quite a shame as this is really the centrepiece of the lobby. Finally, the pool and health area were never manned and finding towels could be quite the ordeal.
